Be able to default a sort method
Currently you can change the sort method from alphabetical to updated date or size, but there's no way to change the default order from updated. Most of my files I prefer alphabetical so it's inconvenient to have to click it every time

Store all generated Box Reports into a Single Shared Folder for the Enterprise
Need a common folder in the enterprise to store reports generated by box by admins and various co-admins. This will reduce the load on the box platform as well as it will significantly reduce duplicate runs. When users delete folders, we want not only the folders but also the files within to be shown in Trash.
When users delete folders, we want not only the folders but also the files within to be shown in Trash. Here is the behavior we noticed: a. We enable "Restrict content creation" in Enterprise Settings. b. User who is not the owner of the folder deletes files. -> The files will be shown in Trash. c. The same user deletes the folder which the files above existed in. d. Auto Expiration Collaborations - allowing for Editors to extend
Similar to how an editor can extend a shared link's expiration, it would be great if that functionality worked with extending the expiration for collaborations.

Admin Console - User File Search - Results Download
Admin Console - Content - User File Search - Results Download enhancement
Allow administrators the ability to download the full user file search from Admin Console -> Content section. The results output would contain all fields present on the current search results page. The output would be in CSV format.
This feature would be useful for eDiscovery purposes.

Ability to hide the modified date in Content Explorer
We would like the ability to hide the ‘modified’ column in the Content Explorer UI, and display the name and size of the content only.

User activity report - for file move/ copy event, display full path to show where the files are originated from
For file move/ copy activity on User Activity report. "Detail" tab would show the name of the parent folder on where the file is from. "Parent Folder" tab would show the full path of destination.
If parent folder could also display in full path, intuitively it is easier for the admin to understand where the files are moved from and to.

The ability to set the report name when the Export Report option on any report
Exported reports currently write with a standard name of the report type with date and time but it is challenging when I have reports with almost similar names and the only difference is the date and time. It is confusing to ID a report when I run the same report multiple times.
If users can specify the report name when exporting it, it would make it easier to jump to the report. I know users can rename the report but it would be a lot easier and more efficient if the report is named right from the start.

Make inactive users their own category vs. remaining as licensed users
Inactive users shouldn't be regarded as licensed users; we need to maintain user history so we never delete users.

The ability to change the format of metadata templates once set
The format of a metadata template cannot be changed after it has been set.
In this case, once a numerical value has been set for the format, only numerical values are available afterwards. This is less convenient and makes information collection more difficult.
If new metadata is added, I have to reconfigure non-target items as well, and since metadata is deployed company-wide, the number of target files is too large and the workload is too high.
Also, to set it via API I have to create a programme, which increases the number of API calls and increases costs.

In the 2FA options there are options for i) TOTP ii) TOTP, Email, SMS - however there is not an option for just email only. Can this option be added for Email only

Greater granularity for co-admin privilages
A co-admin should be able to manage the whitelisted domains for external sharing which is currently only possible by the main admin. Similarly for Shield alerts, only an admin can currently unlock a file. Whilst an admin should be the only one able to change the set up, decide on the alert settings etc a co-admin should be able to manage existing alerts. The lack of granularity of what a co-admin can do makes it difficult to manage as the only alternative is to give co-admins full access to config which isn't a viable option.

Collaboration Allowlist - Ability to Download and Sort
On Admin Console enterprise settings > collaboration allowlist the domains are not in order and there’s no good way to search it. When you have more than 20 domains it becomes unusable for anything but adding. Need ability to sort/filter as well as export allowlist details.

When user share folder/file to group, please be able to use copy and paste.
When share folder/file to Group, if group name includes "@" and user copy and paste that group name to 'Invite People', it is judged mail address not group name.
So, user cannot invite that group.If user enter group name and select from suggestion, they can invite group normally.

SSO Federation Page in Box
Some customers with different divisions want to authenticate through multiple IDP/AD's - We address this by redirecting app.box.com to an internally (customers app server) hosted page which has a redirect button for each business division user to click to be taken to the appropriate IDP for authentication. I'd like to see a redirect page in the SSO configuration where we can configure this routing for each business division. Rather than have to host this outside of Box.
