Support for setting the save location to hard drive directory such as "My Documents" instead of "My Documents/Box Sync"
This would help save the trouble of having to re-map all of their computer programs save locations to a new Box Sync folder.

Make Box for Desktop unmount the "Box" folder if the computer is locked.
Did another test to see if Box Desktop would disconnect if I locked my computer- it does not. My box is available to a user with Admin rights. This could be a potential security risk. A slim risk, however; I believe a fix would be to have box desktop disconnect at lock or switch user. Not sure if that is possible, but it might appease some users worried about their data being accessible, by another user with admin rights.

Allow admins greater control of Box Edit upgrade process
When Box Edit automatically upgrades upon the release of a new version, there is no way for Admins to stop it and then allow the update at a more optimal time. This can be very troubling for companies with large deployment with the .MSI.
After installation or an upgrade, a user needs to either manually launch Box Edit.exe and Box Local Com Service.exe or log out of their user account and log back in to get the processes running.
At a large scale, this just is not practical and causes a lot of confusion for users and admins alike.

Unified Desktop Apps Installer (for Box Sync, Notes, Tools/Edit)
For companies who prefer users to 'opt in' to using Box apps instead of push installation, they would like to have a single 'app bundle' that users can download and install multiple Box applications at once.
1 voteThe installers will be separate for the foreseeable future. Share comments below.

in the problem item UI, the "More..." phrase is confusing. It should say "More details".
You cannot expand the window to make it say "More details"

Add ability to dismiss problem items if the user does not want to address the issue
For example, a Box item's name has characters that Windows does not support.
The user wishes to keep the name as is and doesn't need to see the item locally.
With Box Sync, they could just unsync the folder to avoid the problem item. With Box Drive, they cannot avoid the problem item.

Improve Installer UX: Update Branding + Tell User What to Do
The Box Edit installer has 2 key issues today:
- It is old Box branding
- It doesn't actually tell the user what they need to do (which is to double-click the icon)
Many other modern installers, including the Box Sync installer, at least have an arrow or additional guidance telling the user to 'drag here' or 'double click to start the installation'. Box Edit doesn't have either of these, which means users end up confused about what they actually need to do.
REQUEST: On the Edit installer, tell the user what to do. Aka add text that says "Double click this…

Box Edit Uninstaller
We like a standard un-installer for Box Edit (even if only the for the EXE version.) We are having to use the PowerShell un-installer requiring admin right assistance multiple times a week and it is not sustainable.

Provide versions of Box Edit ahead of time for testing purposes
We would like to get new updates of Box Edit to test before it becomes generally available. We would also like the ability to control auto update and possibly block this feature.
