We'd like Apple Pencil Support
Allow a user to leverage Apple Pencil on iPad Pro within Box Notes
10 votesThis is not a priority for the team at this time. We will reconsider with additional customer demand.

Tables - Allow Merging Cells in Box Note Tables
A standard function when working with tables (in Excel and other tools) is a basic 'merge cells' feature that allows multiple cells (whether in a row or column) to be merged into one to function more as a grouping of multiple rows/columns. Box Notes don't currently support merging table cells.
REQUEST: Support merging 2 or more cells in a row/column within a Box Note.
10 votesThis is something we’re unlikely to do. We want tables to be there for basic use cases. For anything more advanced, users will need to use a dedicated tool.

Make changes and collaboration within BoxNotes more obvious: show when users have made changes, show deleted content/versions, etc.
Differences: show changes for a particular time period. e.g., Smartsheet lets you see changes for the last day, week, month, year, etc.
Differences: show changes for particular users; maybe a different color for each user or some popup or marker next to the line showing who made the changes
Differences doesn't show anything that was deleted. I suppose since there's nothing to highlight. Perhaps consider keeping the text with a strikethrough or perhaps an indicator on that line to show/hide the text that was deleted10 votes -
Ability to discern between your notes and notes shared with you on left menu.
This would make finding your own notes easier and also help you easily know if a note was created by you or someone else. This would be a variation of the different colors of Box folders.

Thank you for the feedback! This is not currently a priority on the roadmap. That said, we will continue to monitor and revisit based on user feedback in future planning.

Move checked off items to the bottom of list
It would be fantastic if you have a list in Box note, the items you mark as "complete" get moved to the bottom of the list.

Microsoft Teams and Box Notes integration
Being able to view Box note files without login required within the Microsoft Teams desktop platform. Ideally you would also be able to edit Box notes within the MT platform or have a link that opens the note up in your Box notes desktop so you can easily find and edit the document through MT, rather than open up Box online or Box notes to dig around and find the note.
Anyone else find the process a bit cumbersome?

Allow users to select a folder when creating a new note in the notes console
When creating a new note from the notes app, you should allow users to select which folder the note lives in. It currently defaults to the root of the user's drive. Or improve upon the move note feature.

Tighter integration with Box Notes and Outlook
Box Notes should better integrate with Outlook similar to how OneNote does. From an Outlook event on your calendar, users can easily create a OneNote meeting note file, as well as assign tasks and include emails/contacts on the OneNote file as well.

Ability to save Box Notes to Zones
Even though I subscribe to Box Zones, all of my Box Notes content is stored in the US.
Therefore, I would like to be able to store it in Zones just like any other file.(In Japanese)
Box Zonesを契約してもBox Notesのコンテンツはすべて米国に保管されてしまいます。
そのため、他のファイルと同様にZonesに保存できるようにしてほしい。7 votes -
Rearrange rows of tables
We use Box Notes for almost every meeting and use tables to display the agenda. Many meetings have set agenda templates but often the presenters or topics will be shifted based on availability.
The ability to rearrange the rows/columns in tables would greatly reduce the amount of time I have to create a blank row/column, then copy/cut each individual cell from the row/column I intended to move to the new blank one.

Assign Tasks to Box Notes
We want to be able to assign Tasks to a Box Note similar to the way you can add a General Task or Approval Task to a document.

Feature requests
I wish Box notes were more like DropBox Paper. Top things I like:
- The editor is essentially a live Markdown editor so nearly all formatting doesn’t require leaving the keyboard.
- Full support for Markdown export.
- Comments can be attached to each paragraph - so much better than the one thread per Box note.
- Links are properly clickable without the silly ‘link bubble’
- Auto-generated ToC

Add a reminder function to box notes
Add the ability to set a reminder either push through the app or an email. For example I keep a to do list in notes or there are reports I need to update weekly. If I had a reminder then I could go back to the note and complete whatever I needed.

Integrate Grammarly into Box Notes
Please integrate www.grammarly.com into box notes please. (It would be super helpful for those of us that are grammar challenged ?)
