Delete user without transferring content when using legal hold
【Background】
1. When "Legal Hold" is ON but no "Retention Policy" set
2. When I try to delete a user that is not related to the legal hold above, they need to transfer the content to another user.【Request】
Since it is a user that is not affected by the "Legal Hold", I would like to be able to use that user without transferring the content, which is the behaviour when there is no Governance setting.3 votes -

Option for only owners and co-owners to permanently delete content from trash
This would include an option in the Admin Console > Enterprise Settings > Content & Sharing tab to allow only owners and co-owners to permanently delete content.

Allow Co-Admins to View Only Legal Holds
I'd like to see a checkbox for Co-Admins to see only the Governance tab with only the Legal Holds sub-tab.
Currently you can grant a Co-Admin permission to view and/or edit policies, which gets you close, but it also includes platform and retention policies at this time. It also inexplicably grants them access to a version of the Content tab I've never seen before.
We have a whole department for managing legal holds and conflicts. They have no need to see the data, they just need to know the name of the person or folder that needs to be put…

Grant an admin access to all folders with one click.
I would like a way to easily grant an admin access to all folders instead of having to add them to each root folder one by one.

Retention Policy blocking trash
Currently end users can move contents to trash even if it is under retention policy, I would like retention policy to also block users to send content to trash.

Apply retention policy to both metadata and folder
Currently you can only select metadata or folder when applying retention policy,
I would like to set the retention policy up by applying both metadata and folder.
This way I can restrict the specific content by narrowing down the files within the folder that has a specific metadata.3 votes -
Offer terms of service feature for shared links
Allows a prompt to appear for external users to acknowledge confidentiality, currently exists if sharing a folder via direct email invite, but not when you copy a shared link.

Signature on our Terms of Service / Box Sign
We need a signature on our Terms of Service. It'd be great if Box Sign could be utilized on the TOS so that our users can draw their signature for it to please our oversight.

Allow for conditional rules-based retention policy.
Allow for conditional rules-based retention policy.
Example: For a dealer we need to see what the newest document is based on a metadata field. The field is corporate copy date.
If that is greater than 7 years, then delete all documents with that dealer id.
You need to get a list of all dealer id’s and find the newest corporate copy date. If any dealer id's are greater than 7 years, delete all for that dealer. In a nutshell, we need to hold 7 years of data after there has been an interaction with a dealer.2 votes -

Allowing policy creation for longer than 50 years.
We've realized that retention policies have an upper limit of 50 years. If we want to apply a 90 year retention policy to documents based on their creation date we can not do that at the moment.
Though workarounds can be implemented such as applying indefinite policies or creating a policy tight to a date field set up into the future, those require extra effort at implementation level or changes at a future moment.
Could the upper limit be removed or increased please?

Allow for alerts or other actions on file downloads with sensitive content.
Under Governance and content security, allow policies to be created for file download that would alert or quarantine files on Download with sensitive information such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, bank account/routing numbers, PII, CUI, Proprietary, Confidential, Classified, or Secret. You can create policies for these files that trigger on upload which seems backwards. I want sensitive content to be uploaded into Box rather than other locations. I don't want it to be removed from Box.

Search for Users Currently on Legal Hold
Currently we are dealing with a matter that has spiraled into a huge undertaking because of the way Legal Holds are implemented. Our client has enabled over 25 Legal Hold policies, each one has an average of 50 users. We have a list of over 20 custodians that we need to know which Legal Hold they are currently on, if any.
There are two ways to implement this:
1 - Allow Admins to see whether the custodian (or any of their data) is currently on a Legal Hold policy, which Legal Hold Policy it is currently on, and why it…2 votes -
Ability to conduct e-discovery investigations without being noticed by the User
When investigating a lawsuit or security incident, we sometime want to do so without letting the target users know that he/she is under investigation.
In such case, Box admin login to the target account 'as user' from admin console. But under current specification, the target user can know this admin's activities in the 'Access Stats' and Activities in Box UI.
So I want Box to enhance the function that admin or co-admin can login as user and investigate without letting the target users know that he/she is under investigation.
