Location on Mobile App
For Audit purposes, it would be good if the BOX mobile app had access to location while using the App, so the geography report included the location of mobile app users.

Support for previewing multiple files of a task by Relay manual start from the mobile app
When multiple files are selected and assigned tasks in Relay's Manual Start, the browser can preview multiple files in my task, but the mobile app cannot (on iOS, only one file can be previewed; on Android, an error occurs and it cannot be previewed).

Allow naming files before uploading on box mobile
My company previously used Box Capture to record videos of our packed product before going out the door to customers. This helped identify skids if lost by the carrier, as well as identify products reported missing by customers. This worked really well for us for many years.
However, Box Capture is no longer supported and "all of the functionality" was supposed to be available with Box Mobile. However, there is one issue that we immediately discovered is different and is costing us extra time. With Box Mobile, you have to upload the video to Box, then go back into the…

Box Mobile - need to "Add Comment" to a photo at time of capture
Need ability to apply a comment or description to a photo when it is taken if "Review photo after capture" setting is on. This was part of Box Capture functionality. With Box Mobile, currently have to take the photo and then navigate to Capture History, then locate photo, open it, select comment, and begin typing - that's a lot of taps :)
Quick access to the File Information - Description would be preferred over Comments because you are able to hover over the "i" tool tip and read whatever text was entered against the image file without having to preview…

User can download a image via "View only" link on mobile browser
User can download a image by pressing the image and selecting "Add Photo"/"Download Image" when opening the image via "View only" shared link on mobile devices's (iPhone or Android) web browser .
Even if user has "View only" permission, there is no way to prevent downloading a image file on mobile browser. We need a way to prevent downloading a image on mobile browser.1 vote -
Box for iOS support for "Universal Control"
Box for iOS doesn't support "Universal Control" in iOS 15 and Mac OS 12.x: this means that I can't drag my cursor from my Mac to my iPad Pro and use it to select and copy text from documents.
Could you please update your app to support the latest OS features?

Continuous Capture Most Recent Folders
When using Continuous capture, it would be great if most recent folders were selectable in the folder navigation.

Continuous Capture Zoom Out iOS
In continuous capture in the Box iOS app, the amount you are able to zoom out is limited, compared to when using the general camera on phones. It would be great if this limit did not exist.
Note: When using a single photo mode (not continuous capture), this zoom out limitation does not seem to exist.

Ability to sort folders/file when choosing where to upload images on Mobile app
When trying to upload multiple photos from my phone to Box, it does not allow me to SORT the folders/file in order to find the folder/file I want the photos placed in. I am forced to manually scroll through literally 100s of folders - which seem to be in order of most recently used which is not helpful - until I find it. You should be able to sort the folders, at minimum to put them in alphabetical order or by date etc so that you can find the place to upload them more easily.

Box Mobile - GPS coordinates and Date Taken
Box Mobile – GPS coordinates metadata location. In Box capture, capture saves location metadata about the photo, the longitude and latitude coordinates as Box metadata. The Box Mobile app photo does not save location as metadata on Box but instead you have to access the File Information to get the longitude and latitude of the photo. This is a request to update the Box Mobile to save the location coordinates (metadata) as metadata in Box in addition to file information.
Also, Box app doesn’t capture the metadata for “Date Taken”

Ability to set default image quality for Capture mode of Box mobile app
With Capture mode of Box mobile app, the default value for quality is "Original", in which case the images are taken with HEIC format. This is not optimal for Windows users (as HEIC is not supported), and the workaround is to use "High" or lower quality (in which case images are saved in jpg) but each user needs to manually configure this for his/her own device. We want the ability to configure this globally from admin console.

Box Mobile - Hyperlink files embedded within Excel
While opening linked files within an excel file on the Box mobile application.
This is happening due to the current preview architecture for excel files and nested/linked files within the Box application. Although you can 'see' the desired file visible on the screen, within your current workflow, the Box app only recognizes the original file as being 'opened' which is why the original files are being saved and not the file open currently.

Ability to view the appropriate number of files on the Mobile app
I use Box to deliver Photo Proofs to clients. It is crazy that there hasn't been a proper update would allow me to see their 'favorites'. Instead I have to rely on "Comments", which for clients on the go and using the Mobile App, is usually a hasel. I'm also trying to figure out why the script for correcting the Usage Space has not been rolled out across the board. I'm still waiting for the script to run on my account, because I'm definitely not using 40 gigs of my 50 gigs right now.

Update m.box.com address for shared link previews on smartphones
Please change the specification so that it does not change to the m.box.com address when previewing the shared link from smartphone.
<Background>
・We want to share the preview screen easily to many unspecified users.
・But there are some shared links that can't be previewed on smartphone.
・The target shared link can be previewed successfully from the PC.
・The reason is that when you access the shared link from smartphone, the address is always changed to m.box.com.
・You can get around this problem by getting a free Box account (Individual) and installing Box for Mobile.
・However, this method requires some preparation…3 votes -
Want more thumbnails of PDFs on Android devices
Unlike Drop Box, which shows PDF thumbnails, Box's mobile app doesn't show thumbnails for Android. If it's iOS version, I can display PDF thumbnails.
Since I have to open each file and check the PDF contents, it takes time and is very inconvenient, so I would like to modify it so that the thumbnails can be displayed in the Box app for Android.

Users should be able to set up 2FA on their phones
We invite external users who only have phones. However, we are set up for 2FA. That means these users need to find a computer to login via the webapp to set up 2FA before we can begin collaborating. This is an issue. The mobile interface should allow 2FA to be set up.
