Block Box notes on android
We would like to see the ability to disable Box notes for managed Android devices. This limitation stops us from allowing our Android users to use the Box mobile app.

Request for the ability to zoom in and out and preview clearly after displaying TIF.
When viewing a TIF file in a browser, it is clear, but in a mobile app, the TIF file is not clear
When viewing a TIF file in a mobile app, it is difficult to view it via the mobile app because there is no zoom in/out function, so it is pinch-enlarged and not clear even when zoomed in, so it must be downloaded to a local library for viewing.4 votes -
Support SSO with certificate authentication in ios app
Authenticate using the In-App Browser when performing single sign-on using the Box for iOS App. Authentication using an X.509 Certificate is not available. In-App Browser does not accept certificate authentication requests.
Other iOS apps (Gmail, Slack, etc.) support certificate authentication, so I would like Box for iOS to support it as well.

Inability to lock files in Box Mobile
Box for Mobile app needs to allow users to lock files while editing otherwise it creates work to manually reconcile the differences from all the duplicates that are created. This renders working on common documents by many users ineffective.

Mobile: The operation of accessing Box from an Office application and opening a file requires increased security.
Access Box from an Office application and open the file.
Current status,The contents can be copied and pasted regardless of the Enterprise setting.
This will lead to the leakage of the content without the intention of the administrator. They need to control the copying and pasting of content when you access Box from an Office application and open a file.

Ability to remove collections from mobile
Ability to remove collection on mobile
Mobile Application doesn't allow users to remove collection. Users need to remove it from Box WebApp at this moment. It would be better to remove it within the mobile application.

Apptec
We use an EMM called Apptec360 to manage our mobile devices. It would be nice if this can be supported by Box for EMM.

Allow Box to work with iOS Files app without having to disable sitewide security passcodes
When using the Files App on iOS, you cannot connect to Box (as a location) if your enterprise settings require a passcode to use the Box app. Surely there must be some way to achieve this functionality without having to turn off passcode security for the whole firm.

Add an identifier that ADFS can find that app is Box for EMM in User-Agent.
Could you please consider adding an identifier that ADFS can find that app is Box for EMM in User-Agent.
We found Box for EMM does not include any identifier like "Box for EMM" in its User-Agent when doing authentication with MAM checked-in. We just only allow access that "Box for EMM" includes in User-Agent. Therefore, ADFS cannot determine whether an application is Box for EMM or not and the user is unable to access from Box for EMM.

File request option for mobile App
Mobile App does not allow selecting "File Request" giving individuals browser upload capabilities without needing to get a box account. Why is that function missing in the App but available on the Desktop browser version?
4 votesThis is currently unplanned as we’re expanding the functionality of file request making it harder to create/manage them from Mobile. However the submission experience is fully mobile optimized. Thank you!

Ability to view/add/edit Skills card on Box mobile app (iPhone and Android)

Make Shared Folder Sorting Consistent Across Devices
Viewing a shared link on a mobile device ignores the sort preference that is established internally and only shows folders/files alphabetically.
I cannot think of a single example of how it would be beneficial to specifically alter the established folder/file sorting method to default to "Alphabetical" merely because the folder is being viewed on mobile.
Sort method should not be "device" dependent. Instead, it should be consistent across all platforms—especially given the fact that the shared-link folder/file list sort method cannot be chosen at the shared-user end.

Edit PDF's natively in iOS app and Save as Flattened PDF
We currently use onedrive only to edit PDF's via our ipad using the apple pencil. It would be great if we didn't have to do this in onedrive and could just use Box. Especially as Box is our cloud drive.
One step better than onedrive's features would be that after editing the PDF with the apple pencil, then have the ability to save the pdf as a flattened PDF file. This is a great feature for signing documents and would improve workflow greatly.

UI improvement for box mobile site
Please remove the top page of mobile site if we access the site via browser instead of APP. It should directly go to the box web site.
If above is impossible, since “Open in Box App” and “Download for free” are not needed for all customers who are using mobile site without accessing it from App
so that “View on Box Mobile site” should be more emphasized and above two option should be removed or minimalized.4 votes -
Fix iOS Microsoft Office Security - No Pin Required
If you have Box Mobile App installed and a Pin is enforced, your data is protected by pin every time you launch the app. If you install iOS Excel or Word and then sign into the application/authorize, anytime you launch word or Excel you are not prompted to sign in again and there is no passcode enforced on either of those apps. They have full access to all documents in your Box account. Box Device Trust and EMM will not enforce or protect this either and is easily bypassed since this is an Application Integration, you don't even need Box…
4 votesBox cannot enforce pin codes on third-party apps.

Device Limiting
We would like users to limit the number of devices a user can have connected to their Box account at a single time; but would like users to be able to manage those devices themselves, so that when a user gets a new phone they can "remove" their old device from their account settings and log into the new phone without having to contact an administrator.
4 votesThank you for this request!
We will review this with additional demand.
