  1. Restrict Co-owner's ability to invite additional Co-owners to a folder

Currently, once a user is granted co-owner permission to a folder, they gain the ability to grant the same permission to other users.

We would like an option that would only allow co-admins to grant permissions that are limited to editor and lower

I don’t think we would necessarily do this.

If you are a co-owner, we want you to be able to invite others up until your permission level.

  3. Allow Device Trust to be able to specify drives/disks to include or exclude for the 'full disk encryption' setting.

Currently, if the setting is enabled, it applies to all disks/drives instead of allowing the ability to pick and choose drives to include.

Our company has multiple drives, and one particular drive doesn't need to be encrypted on their end and isn't, but they aren't able to access Box because the 'full disk encryption' setting is enabled in Device Trust, and there's no way to exclude this particular disk.

This is not planned for the short-term roadmap. We will reconsider with additional customer demand.

  6. IP Whitelisting block page custom message

We would like to provide specific direction to users who hit leave their IP Whitelist range either because of a Bluecoat failure or being off network

  8. Allow per user exemptions for password expiration

This would allow admins to remove automatic password expiration on service accounts or account used solely for third party integration services.

  9. Viewers Bulk Downloading with Watermarking Enabled

Enterprise is providing Viewer access level to multiple external users for a folder containing files that require bulk download option.

The bulk download option is not available to internal or external users when the Watermarking feature is enabled for that folder and users have 'Viewer' access.

  10. Collaborator Expiration - Include Co-Owner(s) in the Email Notification

    Current Behavior:

--Email Notification - Sent to 'affected users' (defined as Folder Owner and the original Inviter, aka the person who invited in the collaborator who is about to expire)
--Ability to Extend Expiration Date - Folder Owner & Co-Owners

REQUEST: Add Co-Owner(s) to the email notification distribution so that they can take the burden off the folder owner (since co-owners already have the ability to extend the expiration date).

  13. Option to Remove Expiration of a Collaborator after Auto-Expiration is disabled

Admin request option when disabling Auto-Expiration feature for collaborators within Enterprise:

    1. Allow option to choose extension date for pre-existing collaborators who's access is going to expire.
    2. Allow option to disable/remove auto expiration for collaborators by Admin or Owner.

This will affect multiple user across our enterprise where they will have to be re-invited to folders since expiration cannot be removed.

We don’t plan to currently support this, as most customers would find it problematic if a user could simply turn on the smallest possible security measures and thus receive a “valid” device.

  17. Have Device Trust perform occasional background checks on Sync client

Have Device Trust perform occasional background checks on Sync client to ensure the device still passes, otherwise remotely logout the device.

  18. Add SHA1 hash value to event stream for applicable events

We have built a custom event stream logging application to maintain a local database of shared links and their targets. We would like a SHA hash to be added to the event stream for applicable events (shared link create, file upload, file download, etc.) to ensure we can identify uniquely the file version in use in a defensible fashion.

  19. If a managed user triggers IP CAPTCHA, send an email notification to the enterprise's admin.

If a user triggers CAPTCHA on an IP address, it could potentially impact many users if our account is NATing our IPs to one external IP.

Typically this is caused by an end user saving a bad set of credentials into some kind of client (FTP or WebDAV) that is constantly trying to reconnect.

This request makes sense, but this is not something that is planned for the foreseeable future.

I will keep monitoring similar cases and prioritize once this becomes a high value request.

  20. When BVE is enabled, allow additional support for selective traffic blocking re: app.box.com (personal) account activity
