Ability for a user to change the language of the invitation email that is sent to a collaborator when sharing files1 vote
Currently, Box has a small screen for inviting collaborators, and invitations must be made on a per-privilege basis. So there are some mistakes of invitations by users.
This could be a compliance issue with business partners. So we need new interface that allow users to check the invitation list and register in a batch input.4 votes
There is a pretty glaring glitch with the Web App when viewing PPTX files. It will repaginate the slides. Example, if your cover slide starts at 0, the Box Web App will repaginate the slides starting at 1, which can be confusing to people when trying to reference a specific slide. Once you download the file, then the pagination goes back to normal.
I'm hoping this gets fixed in an update.1 vote
Maintain folder structure when exporting legal hold content
The legal hold export is very difficult to use because only files are downloaded and the folder structure is lost.
Therefore, we would like to be able to download the files while maintaining the folder structure.
currently, Co-admins are manually inviting users to folders.
Inviting is generated for the number of projects, it takes man-hours each time, so we want to make it easy to invite.
For example, we would like to have a mechanism that can invite all users who have sent an email to the email address associated with the folder.
[How to use]
Generate an email address associated with the folder
(It is assumed to be something like an email address for uploading emails)
Give this email address to the user we want to invite
Each user will send an email to this…1 vote
I would like to display the 'Description' field configured through file requests in parallel with 'Size' or 'Last Modified' on the file list screen. Having to hover over the 'i' icon every time is inconvenient.
Proposing a new Shared Link setting or type that allows users to send a shared link to a specific email address which requires a OTP password, similar to the authentication used when an individual is sent a Sign Request via Box Sign.
This would allow for a simpler, more secure user experience when sharing one-off links than password-protecting a public link.15 votes
With the current file locking feature, even if a file is locked, it can be unlocked by another user.
In this case, the file that was originally supposed to be updated cannot be updated and is saved as another file.
The result is a lot of conflict files and a lot of work to merge all the information.
[The features we want]
When editing a file, the file is completely locked.
If other users want to edit this file, they will ask the user who locked it to unlock it.
It will only be unlocked if the user who put…5 votes

It would be nice for users to be able to customize the columns they see in the webapp. Particularly being able to add a 'Folder Owner' column like OneDrive has. Similar to the way you can go from grid to list view, but add a column between Name and Updated for Folder Owner.1 vote

We have spreadsheets where we have protected a lot of cells due to workbook integrity purposes, however, those protected cells can be deleted by anyone who accesses the document. Can you include the Box for G Suite Integration that includes the Protected Sheets & Ranges feature, please?1 vote
Dear Box team, it would be very helpful shwoing the timestamp of the last change of a file/folder is shown in Box Web and Box Teams Plugin instead of showing the date only (or a text).

Revert back to the display order of most recent. You took away a good feature within the last year.
I sorely miss files being listed in most recent order.1 vote
We would like to have the option to open a file directly without opening the preview first (or right click --> open with).
Maybe this can be done via a shortcut or a default setting in the user preferences?
Some of our collaborators are seeing our data room with a random sorting. It would be great if we could lock the sort order for the folder.1 vote

"Restore All" and "Delete All" button in Trash is the function to restore or delete all items that are in both "Items I Deleted" and "Items I Own" filters.
So if there are any items in either filter, I think the buttons should be pressable in Trash.
But if there are items only in one filter, the buttons are grayed out in a filter that has no items.
This can cause confusion, so I hope it would be any behavior like the following.
- If there are any items in either filter, the buttons are pressable even though a user selects…
- Don't see your idea?
