Drag & Drop Uploads to subfolders, not just current folder
In legacy UI, you could drag & drop to either the current folder OR one of the sub-folders of the current folder by hovering over it.
In Amsterdam, drag and drop is only supported for the CURRENT folder, not the subfolders.
This request is to bring back drag and drop to subfolders in the Amsterdam UI.

Allow editors to overwrite files with the same name when uploading by email or widget
Currently editors cannot overwrite files with the same name when uploading by email or widget. It makes sense for editors to be able to change this option.
3 votesThank you for this suggestion! This is a low priority because it’s a very narrow use case. Changing this functionality does not impact a large enough user base.

Option to disable notifications for collaborator invites being accepted
Users can get spammed if they send folder collaboration invites to a group and the organization's default settings are to auto-accept collaboration invites. The option to disable notifications for accepting collaborator invites would be useful in this circumstance.

Ability to send multiple shared links and change the default access setting.
My company has default settings for shared links set to "people in your company". When users want to send multiple shared links to clients they aren't able to do this in bulk because the default is "people in your company" and they aren't able to change this.
Of course they can get the individual shared links and change the setting to share it, but it would be easier if they could select everything they need and send that one email.

When I upload a XLS_UUE file to box via email, I would like box to convert this this file when outputting to an XLS format.

Expire all shared links at parent-level folder
Request the ability to expire all shared links generated within a parent folder on a selected date. Shared links should still be able to be generated independently on files, subfolders, etc. but have the ability to control & manage the expiration holistically at the parent level.

Preview Movie Files Without The Need To Render
Video files are taking a long time to render. We would either like there to be a file format that e can create before uploading files that will stream on Box without the need for a render. Or have the render start immediately once the upload of a video file is complete.

Option to Hide Last Update Information on content
It is overwhelming when trying to find documents because not only are you looking for the name of the document but you have to visually sift through the "Updated on Nov. 16, 2016 by John Smith" under every single file.
It would be great if Box could either make it an option to hide this (and maybe just hover over the document to see this information) or if it was moved to the right like it is in a regular Shared Drive.

Error Update Notification
Users sometimes get errors that "There was an error with "etc." Please try again later.
For example, a user accidentally deleted a large folder tree that they needed to restore. When they tried to restore it, they were told this item was still in the process of deleting and to try again later.
We would like an email when this action completes so we can continue with our work (in this case, a folder restore)

Sorting - Don't Sort Folders First (Or Provide User-Level Setting to Choose)
The webapp (and mobile) have traditionally always sorted Folders, then Files (followed by Bookmarks) regardless of which sort order (name, updated, etc.) is chosen.

Keyboard Shortcuts - Allow Shift+S to Open Shared Link Modal for Current Folder
REQUEST: Hitting Shift+S should open the Shared Link pop-up for the current folder when no items are selected.
Currently there is no way (via keyboard) to open the Shared Link pop-up for the folder one is currently in.

Have the Box Embed Widget support responsive scaling of videos.
YouTube embeds do this automatically, so we just wrap those in a responsive div tag and they scale with screen width, but I can't get a Box embed to do the same with our CSS.

Enterprise site for external collaborators
We'd like the ability to offer external collaborators a specific domain or sub-domain when collaborating in our company's folder.
Intent is to better adoption with agencies that are hesitant to allow our Box account on their networks as it currently means that have to all All-Box on their network (e.g. app.box.com)

Collaborators Page - Add 'Common Folders' Column Back to Page
In Legacy, the Collaborators page had a column called "Common Folders" that told me (as a user) which folders I was collaborating in with the given user.
In Amsterdam, this column was removed, meaning the page only tells me WHO I'm collaborating with, but not WHERE I'm collaborating with them (aka in which folders)...which makes the page FAR less useful.
REQUEST: Add the 'Common Folders' (or something similar) column back to the Collaborators page so that the page can tell me both
1. Who I'm collaborating with across my entire account
AND

True 'Select All' - Expand 'Select All' Beyond Just the Current Page of a Folder
REQUEST: Add an option for 'True' Select All such that when a user performs a Select All (via command+a / control+a), they have a new option to also select all items in the current folder, not just the ones on that current page.
BACKGROUND: When folders have a lot of items, there can be many pages and pages of items. The webapp's current 'Select All' functionality ONLY allows users to select all items from the given page (which is only 20 items for most users since the 'items per page' default is 20, though users can manually increase it to…

Only allow managed users/collaborators of an enterprise to log into customized login page
Ideally, users who use their subdomains to login should be our collaborators and users only.
