Logging in to Box from a shared link should not redirect to home
With the current iteration of Box, when you follow a shared link while not logged in, the only way to log in is to click "Go to My Account" which directs you to your home page on your Box Account. This requires re-following the link again to get to the shared item as a logged in user. This adds several additional clicks to the simple task of following a shared link from an internal email regarding new comments on an item, for example.
This was not the case in the past, where there was a "Log In to My Account"…

Restrictions on the use of direct links/直接リンクの利用制限
When issuing a shared link, the direct link is displayed on the screen transition of "Link setting" from the shared link issue screen, so there are cases where the direct link is used by mistake.
There are many cases where users with free accounts cannot use it because they share files using direct links.
Therefore, please make improvements so that the use of direct links can be restricted on a tenant-by-tenant or folder-by-folder basis.(In Japanese)
共有リンクを発行する際、共有リンク発行画面から「リンク設定」の画面遷移に直接リンクが表示されているため、間違えて直接リンクを利用するケースがあります。

The Sharing Sidebar Needs an update
The current Sidebar shows only 5 users who this folder has been shared with.
As we are moving so fast throughout our day, we have to click on the option below to look for the other people it is being shared with.Having the ability to scroll on the side of the existing 5 users it's shared with and all the others will exponentially help to find and manoeuvring through the folder.

Post filter action on the collaborator management screen
The following events occur when 100 or more people are invited to the folder.
・If you specify a domain and filter it, only 25 people will be displayed on one page.
・After transitioning to the next page, the applied filter function is cleared.It is hoped that it will operate as follows based on the above operation.

Ability to track # of favorites to a file or folder
While access to the # of previews, edits, and downloads is great, it would be super awesome to be able to access the # of favorites a file or folder has received. This would give the opportunity to show deeper engagement of a file or folder.

Box for Outlook (app) - Insert link at character
The Box for Outlook app (deployed through Microsoft 365 admin centre - not as part of Box for Office), inserts links as an image and file name at the bottom of the email that is being created.
This is an awful user experience for recipients. It would be better to insert links in the same way as the Box for Office Outlook add-in works. This allows putting a link at the character point.

Specify a dynamic port for "OAuth 2.0 Redirect URI”
Following the "LoopbackInterfaceRedirection" specification described in "RFC 8252 OAuth 2.0 for Native Apps", I would like to configure Box to receive the authentication code on an unused free port on Windows and send it to the Box custom app configuration screen (https://app .box.).
However, it is not possible to specify a dynamic port for the "OAuth 2.0 Redirect URI" in the Box custom app configuration screen (developers/console/app/xxxx/configuration).
I would like you to specify the dynamic port as per the specification of "LoopbackInterfaceRedirection" described in "RFC 8252 OAuth 2.0 for Native Apps".1 vote -
Enhance Box for Gmail attachments, to show recent files.
When attaching a file I just worked on, I often need to click through five or more pages of alpha-sorted folders to find the file I want. Recents don't always populate as I would expect. Could we have a toggle for the folder view to sort by Recents OR Alphabetical, especially in Favorites? Or make the default sort by most recent first for all views?

Embedded Widget Video or Link Video
For Videos that are Tagged for View Only (Embedded or Link) types... Remove the Log in and Sign Up options on the Top Right of the Video Player. My goal is to eliminate the possible Move away from my Web Page that is presenting the Video so that I can take full advantage of my Visitor's presence.

Improved messaging for "Share" dialog box and handling of Links
I have been using Box for a couple of years and still find the Share function and creation of Links very confusing and non-intuitive. For example, what are "Invited People?" and how are they different than 'People with the Link?" Why have 2 different places to copy the link? One is on the first dialog box and it appears that one takes the viewer to Box.com and they can view or download the file, but then if you click on "Link Settings" adifferent dialog box opens and there is another link you can copy. This one says Direct Link above…

Ability to have Automatic sorting enabled post file rename
It would be nice to have Box simply update a name after the file has been renamed. As of right now, it's difficult to start on a folder renaming image files, closing out, then coming back in and all of the files have been automatically sorted alphabetically, which is a nightmare for images that have ascending or descending filenames. If we could just save changes as-is and have everything still in place when we log back in after closing out of the folder, that would be very useful so that one could simply pick back up where they left off.

Templates for Comments
When someone sends me a document I did not ask for ... I want to know three things ... what is it ... why are you sending this to me ... and what, if anything, do you want me to do with it ...? Would be nice if I could create a template for comments, like we have in notes, where someone could select a custom template (like the one I just described) and answer it in the comments section of a document.
