Preview Accuracy
I understand that preview currently can not guarantee perfect accuracy and failing perfecting it which is the ideal solution, we'd like to be able to use MSFT online with read-only privileges. This would enable users with read-only access to still see the content displayed correctly whilst not being able to make changes or download.

The version log on the right should make document type immediately evident
When version history is displayed on the right, no indication of version type (docx or pdf) is given, other than the file size, from which an inference might be made. I told my co-workers I'm a "version nazi"--that is, I'm against starting a new Box document when we've finalized a Word document as a PDF. I want them to stack the PDF version(s) right on the old versions so that ALL versions of a specific document--whether docx or pdf--are in the same Box document. Print Activity
Having the activity in a document be printed with it or saved underneath. Like a printable view that salesforce has for their items.

Speed displayed in grid view
I would like to request an improvement so that even if it is displayed in the grid view, it will be previewed in a few seconds.
It takes time to find the desired image file in the grid view, which is inefficient.
For example, if you display a folder with a large number of files in the grid view, it will be previewed little by little every few files, and it took about 2 minutes to display 374 files.3 votes -

Please add Vectorworks specific file format: VWX to the list of file extensions supported by Box Content Preview.

Ability to add tags to multiple photos at once
There needs to be a way to Quickly add a tag (after one is created) to additional photos. In other words, once I create a tag once, I need to be able to add this same tag to many other photos (one at a time though) with the simple click of the mouse, or keyboard shortcut, or similar. Having to go through the process of adding tags (as I'm reading in the instructions) is too time consuming when dealing with 1500+ photos. End goal is to flag photos as "favorites", that others can see and also add flags/favorites, and/or sort…

Ability for Preview UI Element to show a particular Version
For version display, extend Preview UI element to take version id as one of the optional parameter and not default to Preview of current version if version id is present.

Compatibility with MadCap Flare PDF Output (Fix copy/paste in preview mode)
In Box.com preview mode of a PDF that was built via MadCap Flare, when you copy text and paste it somewhere, it removes all of the spaces in the text and makes it one big string (see example below). The copy/paste feature works fine from PDFs built out of InDesign and in all downloaded PDFs. This has been a common issue for our Support reps who want to simply copy/paste text from a previewed product documentation PDF into a Support case without having to download it each time.

You can rotate PNG and JPEG images. TIFF images should also be able to be rotated.

File preview could use "Preview As..." option
Some people such as programmers use ".out" as a file extension for a text file. Although Box has done much work to support various filetypes in preview mode, Box does not offer a "Preview As Text" option as far as I can tell. It would be helpful to allow users to open files with "Open as text".

Allow "plain text" toggle on preview pane for all small files
Right now, the preview pane on the site will refuse to display plain text files unless the file extension is one of a short list of types. However, there's no good reason why this files can't be displayed. There's no need to try to syntax-highlight the files, just display the contents.
Since the site won't necessarily know if a file with an obscure extension is a plain text file or not, all files below a certain reasonable length in bytes should have a toggle checkbox in the preview pane ("Display raw contents" or something) that would force the file to…

Ruled line
When the excel file is previewed, there are ruled line.
It makes us hinder clearly understand the report.

Slow video preview
Video files take way too long until the preview starts. Shuttling is not possible until completely buffered.
To solve this, the preview could be converted in the background into a more web friendly file that starts immediately and allows shuttling. As offered by many other services.

I would like to see two buttons, "Go to My Account" and "Log in", or be able to go back to the preview screen after logging in with "Go to M
Currently, when accessing a file link in an invited folder in Box without logging in to Box, [Go to My Account] is displayed in the upper right corner of the browser.
When I click "Go to My Account" and log in, the page moves to "All Files" instead of the preview screen that was open.
Previously, the "Login" button was displayed instead of "Go to My Account".

Allow for native editing of video content in Box
This is a pretty difficult ask but one of my customer has to migrate their video content stored in Box into another cloud app that's focused on video editing. That's alot of content to move and my AE was wondering if we could be better positioned to help them if we offered the ability to do some editing of video in Box.
