Mark file as safe across entire enterprise
We have a file stored in multiple (hundreds of) locations across our Box enterprise and it regularly gets falsely flagged as malicious. We mark it as safe each time, for each location. It would be nice if there was a way to mark the file as safe for ALL locations in our Box enterprise at once. The file is identical name, size, and hash in each location so marking it as safe once instead of hundreds of times would be very much appreciated.

Restrict number of groups you can invite to certain folder
For certain Shield labels I would like to restrict the number of groups co-owners can invite to avoid unnecessary collaboration.

Box Shield Delete Restriction Security Control
Adding an additional Shield security control to restrict the ability of Editors to send content to Trash would be a great way to fill the gap between Viewer Uploader and Editor permissions. One of the primary use cases for Viewer Uploader is the ability to collaborate on content without being able to delete that content but in its current state, Viewer Uploaders are also restricted from other important collaborative features like inviting collaborators.

Permanently purge files with the Shiled label
Business activities sometimes require customers to permanently purge confidential information.
However, many Box tenants have the problem of too many items in the Recycle Bin, making selective permanent purging of files impossible! We would like to apply the Shield label to the lifecycle of such sensitive information.
Please consider adding the behavior of permanent purging from the Recycle Bin after a certain period of time for files with the Shield label.Supporting permanent purging by label would provide complete lifecycle management of sensitive information.

Co-Admin permission - Manage Shield Lists
It would be good to be able to delegate the update of Sheild lists so that someone can amend who is in a list without providing access to other shield functions.
For example, a list of people email addresses that can change because external parties that we collaborate change but we want to be able to remove/add people.

classification labeling time lag when item added to a folder with classification
When adding items to a folder with defined classification, there is a time lag (appx. 5 min) to reflect the classification to added items. (we know its 20min for 40K items but still we want to remove the time lag)
During the lag, a user can temporarily operate the items outside the policy defined on its classification.
This seems a critical defect in terms of its security, so please consider to fix the situation.

I want to be able to set Relay triggers for folders as well.
Due to Relay specifications, only "files that triggered the flow" can be selected.
In our business, we want to copy uploaded folders to another folder automatically, but it is time-consuming to manually select the destination folder each time.
Therefore, we would like to be able to set triggers for folders.
(Japan)
2 votes -
Shield Auto-Classification Previewer workflow
Shield Auto-Classification Previewer workflow: a user previews the document, but only after refreshing the document does the auto-classify work and apply the classification label. Change this workflow so that a user does NOT have to refresh the document in order for the classification to be placed on the document

I would like the ability to hide malicious content in BoxShield.
If malicious content is uploaded to Box, we would like the ability to hide the content as well as suppress downloads.
If possible, we would like the content to be hidden automatically.
*For example, if infected with ransomware, we would like to hide the infected file and the file with the threatening message. This is because we want to take action on the administrator's side so as not to worry users.

Enable default classification of MIP / Purview marked content from outside our tenant
We have multiple Microsoft Tenants and one Box EID. The challenge with this is that Shield only enables us to map sensitivity labels from one tenant. As a result we have a lot of information in our Box environment that is MIP marked but carries no Shield classification. It would be ideal to enable a default Shield classification for to be applied to data that has come from outside our MIP tenant. That way we can at notify users that additional controls may affect the document beyond those that Shield is enforcing, and smooth the gaps between our multi-tenancy in…

Enable option with Shield Access Policy to break hard coded waterfall permissions (e.g. Editor --> View)
Enable option with Shield Access Policy to break hard coded waterfall permissions (e.g. Editor --> View).
E.g. everybody who is not the owner of the content previously was an Editor, but after I overlay a "View Only" Access Policy and Classification Label to the content, then everyone who is not the Owner of the content is View Only.

Box Shield threat detection email alerts to include complete details
Include complete incident information with the thread detection email alerts. This will make it easy to share the information with others who do not have access to Box Shield admin portal, and will also eliminate an extra step of logging into admin portal for those receiving and triaging the alerts.
Use case: infosec team receives a Box Shield malicious content alert, identifies it as needing action, and passes it to the endpoint management team for mitigation.4 votes -
Box Shield: enable granular controls for Threat Detection anomalous download behavior alerts
Box Shield: enable granular controls for Threat Detection anomalous download behavior alerts.

Box Sheild - Improved alert policies
We are based out of the US but have a few users based out of other countries. As of now, every time they access Box we get an alert for a suspicious login location. We can exclude the entire country, which we do not wish to do or we can exclude a specific IP. It would be great if we could create a IF THEN statement. Example: IF user = *@specificdomain.com AND location=specific country THEN SuspiciousLocationAlert=False.
To summarize, additional configuration of alerts would be very beneficial.

Enable option for non-Admins (e.g. folder owners) to be notified about Box Shield Threat Detection
Enable option for non-Admins to be notified about Box Shield Threat Detection.
E.g. Owner of folder is also notified. Today, only Co-Admins can get Box Shield Threat Detection notifications.

Alert if classification label is changed
Send a notification when a classification is changed. When a classification is changed for a piece of sensitive content, there is currently not an alert or notification generated. Reporting capabilities on any changed classification labels are also important.

Box Shield - Internal users on lists
Would like the ability to add internal users in addition to external collaborators to Shield lists. Right now we can only apply the Shield access controls to external collaborators outside our EID. We would like the lists to be able to b applied to our internal users as well to create policies around specific users and groups. Would provide much needed guardrails for the business groups inside our instance

Box Shield Smart Access - Require approval when doing a Business Justification override of a Classification
I want to allow team members to override a Box Shield Classification/Access Policy with a Business Justification ONLY IF the appropriate person approves the override.
"Appropriate person" would be 100% configurable and different across different Classification Labels. Options like:
- Person who created the Classification Label
- Main Admin or Co-Admin with appropriate permissions
- An assigned authorized person or group (e.g. legal, compliance, infosec, IT, folder or file owner).E.g. scenario #1: "Highly Classified" label - only Admin, Co-Admin with Shield permission, xxx person in InfoSec, or yyy person in IT could approve the override.
E.g. scenario #2: "Internal…
