Reports that allow you to see the history of apps added and removed from your account
Currently, there is no way for admin to see what apps users are adding.
Even if an app required by a tenant is set to "Add by default", the admin cannot see when it is removed by a user.We request that the history of apps added and removed from the account be added to the report so that it can be reviewed by the administrator.

Report about the use of shared links
It would be great to have a report that shows you the usage information of the shared links: How many times the link has been used, which user (if registered) has used it and on which date.

Box Report file management improvement
Currently every generated report goes into Box Reports folder, making it rather difficult to neatly manage large number of report files.
If it could be set to automatically sort report files into certain designated subfolders, etc., it would be convenient.

Workflow status report
We would like to have a report that gives us insight into the status of Box workflows. We would like to be able to see the individual steps of a workflow and how long the individual steps take, for example, to see if and where a workflow is stuck.

Enable Box Admin (Content) search results to populate full-width screen, and shown FULL path of content
Having searched for a string " " in Box Admin/Content, the results for a folder do not show the FULL path of that folder, because the full path length is too long for the report width.
I have been advised by Box Support that this is expected.
I suggest that the report width should not be hard-wired (as is currently) to fit laptop-width. Instead, the folder path should wrap onto a new row, or if screen-size allows (eg external monitor), the full path is shown on the same row.

Enhance Box Reports to store metadata (parameters used) in output folder
Box Admin users regularly run several reports in a day or week, and may not read the content until days after run, and is difficult to identify the purpose it was run for, and the parameters used.
It would be helpful, and not difficult to do, for Box to save the parameters used when creating a report, and perhaps offer users a free-text field to store (at the time it is run) the reasons why it was being run

Collaboration Report - Add Last Accessed Column
Box Admin frequently runs reports on all external collaborators who they work with and wants to remove external collaborators from files that they haven't accessed in awhile. Wants to be able to run a report that filters to all external collaborators and allows you to see the files that they are collaborated on AND the last date that they accessed those files. Email-to-folder Security Concern - Need Visibility
Need a report based on email-to-folder entries. Our cyber-security platform recently flagged a change in auto-forwarding to a Box email address (one of those cryptic folder addresses), but I cannot find the folder that contains the feature turned on. The User Activity Report has a column, "Details" that shows "Service: Email Folder," but I don't see our suspect folder listed. Maybe there have been no emails going there yet- but this is a security concern that needs clarification. Should be an easy report to build, the records exist in your database. Thanks.

Folder and file reports are output in a tree format, making it easier to understand the folder hierarchy.
The new platform version of the Folders and Files report is sorted by creation date by default.
This does not fulfill the role of a folder tree report.
If folders are not specified, sorting by all folder/file IDs, etc. into a tree format is impractical and affects business operations(Japanese)

Ability to detect which Box client is running on a user's device
It would be very helpful to build out functionality to detect which Box client is installed on a user's machine from within the portal to assist with product troubleshooting.

Allow the custom renaming of a report before it's run
All the reports have a standard name (i.e. useractivityrunon2022-11-01-14-38-28Page1) and there is no ability to create a custom name. As an admin we run more than a single report in an hour and that report may be associated with a user or file name we're searching for. We need the ability to be able to customize the report name that is relevant so we don't have 5-10 reports running that all start with useractivityrunon{date and time} for example.

Add column to Shared Link report "user who created shared link"
Please add information about the user who created shared link to Shared Link report.
Using User Activity report is NOT an effective solution to decipher information who created the shared link and on what folder/file.9 votes
