3 votesWe’re excited to announce Platform Insights, which will help admins better understand how their enterprise is using custom applications.
Platform Insights is an easily accessible dashboard within the new Admin Insights experience that will provide admins with visualizations on chargeable API calls, MAUs, pending app approvals, storage, and bandwidth. Admins can apply filters to charts to select specific dates or categories, as well as show the underlying data for a chart.

Reports status
Easily link to the file directly from Reports status
Even if you know immediately that the status is completed in Reports status, it takes time to find the corresponding file in the report folder!
The files are numerous, have similar names, are difficult to find, and are easy to make mistakes.

Exporting Access Stats report some times take long time to get generated, especially many reports are requested at the same time. We would like the Access Stats export be generated faster at scale.

Report the history of Apps enabled / disabled in Individual Application Controls
We would like to be able to get a history of apps that we have enabled / disabled in the Individual Application Controls of Admin Console.
This is under Box Apps & Integrations within the Apps settings menu.

When running a report on a "Selected Folder" would be helpful to be able to "Select All" or "Select All Folders/Subfolders" versus having to select each and every file/folder.

Make admin console reports (Folders & Files, Collaborations, Shared Links) run at scale
I saw on the Community site that there is a 10 million item limit, but my company has way more items than that. It is important for us to have these reports for security audits.

Input file/folder ID instead of folder name in Files and Folders report
Quite often folders with same name appear when the folder name is entered for filtering the folder to create the report, resulting in the report being incorrect although after long time waiting for the report to be ready.
By allowing to filter by file/folder ID instead of folder name, such mistake can be avoided and the the filtering can be made more accurate.10 votesGreat news!

Box report status indicator
When exported reports are being generated in “Box Reports”, they would like more non-success outcomes to be shown in case the report times out, gets cancelled, pauses, etc, instead of continuing to show the “In Progress” status.

Enhance Box reporting feature
Box’s limited and slow reporting abilities are frustrating for their customers. This has been the same for past 7+ years of me working on Box.
It makes harder for IT teams to believe and justify to our business users that an application that cannot spin a basic out of box report on stored content for days, is the “Enterprise “ solution we recommend for our public company. And we have no other option but to wait for days for the report to “hopefully” work.

Add the ITEM ID to the User Activity report (when activity is against a file or folder) in order to join to Files and Folder report on ID
Add the item id to the User Activity report (when activity is against a file or folder). This would allow the User Activity events to be joined to the Files and Folders report data in order to report on activity against files and folders. An example report would be a list of all activity (Downloads, Previews, etc...) for a specific Box account. Add Classification and Metadata information to Folders and Files Report
When running the folders files report, have it list out the classification tag that is added to each file, along with any metadata information that has been added.

Disallow group admin from elevating group permission from admin console above their collaboration access
Currently if a group admin is individually invited to a folder as a viewer, the group admin can add the folder to a group as editors.

Add a filter to the shared links report. This is and the other reports that provide no choice but to run against the entire enterprise.

We would like to configure Device Trust to check for the presence of a valid client certificate signed against a particular trusted root certificate.

Send notifications to multiple emails
We have a separate instance for managed external users. Because they have to create a dummy email for these externals, the email is not one that is able to receive notifications. They would like the ability to tack on working emails (without the unique email constraint) so that these users can still receive email notifications.

Allow Customers to Enable Auto-Roll in settings on Admin Console
Allow Customers to Enable Auto-Roll in settings on Admin Console would reduce the unnecessary escalations to Box support team.
If an administrator can enable and to see the settings, the admin/co-admin keep up on what options that they are using and enabled2 votesAuto Roll-In has been released as Auto Enrollment in Admin Console under Domain Management.

Enhance description of "Shared Contacts" setting for User Permissions
Area of product: Admin Console > choose admin/co-admin user > Edit user details > Edit User Access Permissions > Shared Contacts > description bubble
Currently this describes "Allow this user to see all managed users. If enabled, this user will be able to access other managed users in their contacts when inviting collaborators. External users will not show up in their contacts unless they are already collaborating with each other."
However, if this is unchecked it also prohibits Admins/Co-Admins from searching for managed users in Reporting and other areas of the Admin Console. Which is not mentioned or hinted at…
