Box Hubs - Restrict external collaboration for tenant in admin console
I understand that BoxHubs is planning to release a function to restrict external collaboration on a per-Hub basis, but I would like to have a function that can be configured in the Admin Console for tenant. Because setting for each hub would be very time-consuming and would result in setting omissions.

More robust in-line editing for Box App views
Currently inline editing is limited to single select metadata values. It would be great if this could be expanded to other data types, especially multiselect and date.

Update Notification in Box Hubs
We currently have a limitation with Box Hubs, where there is no feature to notify users about updates to content placed within each Hub. Presently, we rely on traditional portal sites such as SharePoint to accomplish this task.
To address this, it would be highly beneficial if the personnel responsible for uploading documents to each Hub could also post updates on a dedicated "Announcements Page." This page would be configured by administrators but managed by the respective Hub content owners, enabling employees to view the latest updates at the start of their workday. Hubs open documents in new tab
When opening a document in Box Hubs, the browser window is fully taken over by the document, and it's not currently possible to use standard browser actions like Ctrl+Click, middle mouse click, or right-click > "Open in New Tab." This limitation significantly hinders the ability to efficiently review multiple documents at once and makes side-by-side comparisons impossible. It would greatly improve productivity if Box Hubs allowed documents to be opened in new tabs. Please consider updating this feature.

Ability to post photos, videos, and hyperlinks in Box Hubs.
While posting the photo and video files is nice, it would be faster to be able to easily look at photos without clicking into their previews. Also, hyperlinks and adding Box shortcut files are a must—we can't currently offer employees a list of helpful external resources in Hubs. (We could provide a PDF/Word doc with all the resource links, but, again, this requires extra steps for the end user.)

User can perform multi-doc AI queries from the Box Apps view
Currently a user can only select files in a folder to run a multi-doc query. They should also be able to select files in a Box Apps view to perform multi-doc AI queries.

Box Hub Image Previews for External Users
Image previews in a Box Hub are not available unless logged in. We love the Box Hubs internally and would love for them to be as helpful and useful for non-users.

Increase Box Form fields limitation from 100 to 200
A community & human services customer is wanting to digitize their forms into box, but are limited to 100 fields, they would like this to be increased to at least 150-200 fields.
These are Individual fields - they need the information from each member of the household which multiples the number of fields on the form

Integrate Box AI into the Hub Search Box
We’d like Box AI to be available directly from the main search box in Box Hubs. Today, users must click a separate AI button to open the AI panel, and less experienced users often overlook that button. Enabling AI from the central Hub search field would make Box AI more discoverable and easier to use as part of everyday searching.

Add sections with no input needed and pages to Box Forms.
It would be great if Box Forms would include sections where you can have descriptions of what is expected, but without any input required. This would help let users understand expectations and give instructions. It would also be nice to have a next button so if you have a really long form, you don't have to keep scrolling, you can just hit 'next' to next page as you move through form. This would also help with logic where in stead of fields appearing/disapearring, they would just either be included or not included on next page based on previous response.

More items at a time on a file View in Box Apps
Allow for more items on a dashboard view - up to 250 per page or a continuously loading selection as I scroll down would be ideal.

Easily check past annotations in Box Notes
Box Notes is extremely easy to use for team brainstorming and reviews, and it has become an essential tool for our day‑to‑day collaboration.
Currently, when we add a comment using the annotation feature in Box Notes, the comment disappears in the next version if the referenced text is deleted. While it is possible to revert the Note to the version in which the annotation was made via the version history, this is not very intuitive.
We would like comments (annotations) to remain viewable as a history, even after the referenced text has been deleted, similar to how comments work in…

Hubs Template
Make a Hub a template to then copy and paste the Hub in order to share with different groups of stakeholders.
37 votesHi! We release "Copy hub" feature in Hub's menu, near settings. This allows users to copy any hub they have access to and admins or hub co-owners to manage this functionality.
In the future we plan to add specific "Template" functionality but for now you can create templates yourself.

Multi-select filter for Box Apps Views
For filters in a View in Box Apps, I would like the ability to select multiple options in a drop-down list. For drop-down menu filters today, you can only select one option, but there are many use cases where multiple would be beneficial - e.g. I want to see all documents not in “complete” status so I would like to filter for “in progress”, “ready for first review”, “ready for second review” etc.
4 votesThanks for voting on this one! We recently launched more advanced filter options for Box Apps Views. This includes multi-select for filters on metadata that are single-select fields, as well as improvements to date filters, number filters, and text.

Add Open Text boxes for Box Forms
Add a text "section" to a form. The text is to expand on the instructions on the form. The character limit on the instructions is limited and the instructions apply to multiple form selections.

Support for doc gen to output word documents
Allow Doc Gen to output to word (Docx) format.
It would be really helpful to fill out a template with data passed to it and output a word doc format for further editing where needed.

Box Hubs: Allow search functionality within Box Hubs for users without Box accounts
Current functionality: If a user without a Box account access a Box Hub through a shared link, they do not see the search bar
Desired functionality: A user without a Box account accessing a Box Hub will still be able to use the search bar
Use Case: Using Box as a marketing DAM housing photos. A hub could be used to provide access to approved photos so that non-Box users can search for approved photos they need.

We would like the usage standards for Box Connector for Microsoft Graph to be relaxed.
Currently, the Box Connector for Microsoft Graph requires fewer than 10,000 Box users, but the improved interoperability between Box and Microsoft products is more beneficial for larger tenants.
I would like the user limit to be increased or eliminated.Additionally, We can currently search and display Box content (up to 20,000 recent items) across the Microsoft ecosystem, but this amount of content is not very searchable, so we'd like to see as many as possible.
