We are were happy to announced that Annotations was launched on web in June this year and will launch on mobile soon. We are constantly building and improving the experience so please let us know your feedback. More details below
If you have dozens or hundreds of folders in your "Favorites" and they are not sorted alphabetically, then it is nearly impossible to find your subject folder. Just make Favorites and Collections default sort alphabetically or give us the choice to set the default. Other people may want the last visited folder to be at the top, but still others may want to see it alphabetically. Please give us the option to do so as a default treatment.51 votes
Thanks for the feedback. Favorites and collections are now sorted alphabetically in the left sidebar.
Provide an 'export' button in the Access Stats modal (pop-up), allowing folder Editors, Co-Owners, and Owners to export a .xlsx file containing all preview/download entries for the file (not limited to the 50 most recent).32 votes
This feature (the ability to ‘Export’ Access Stats at the file-level) was launched in April 2018. View this Community article for more information.
In the Invite Collaborators modal (and other locations such as the Comment composer), Box's autocomplete feature only allows the user to search by either email address and/or first AND last name. Meaning for user John Doe with email email@example.com, a search for...--"John D" will populate correctly--"jdoe" will populate correctly--"Doe" will NOT populate correctly REQUEST: Allow searching by last name (without having to enter first name before).22 votes
Thank you for submitting this request. We’re pleased to announce that we have added support for searching by last name and email address when sharing from the Box web application. We hope to expand this functionality to our comments support in a future release.
32gb upload available (upon request) for all enterprise accounts.20 votes
This is available today via grid and list view.
Allow users to do a 'File Request' where they are able to send a link to a person who can then upload a file/content without the person needing a Box account.19 votes
In iOS 11 Apple has changed the default camera image format from JPEG to HEIF. So, if you have an iPhone 7/8 your photos are now in a .heic files and not .jpg. If you try to upload a HEIC file to Box you will not be able to preview the file. Same goes for mobile. We want the ability to preview these images in Box19 votes
Box Preview now supports the HEIC file type format.
See https://community.box.com/t5/Managing-Your-Content/What-file-types-are-supported-by-Box-s-Content-Preview/ta-p/327 For more information on our supported file types for Preview.

Ability to do a search without entering a string of text parameters. In order to fully make use of Box's metadata features (including templates), Box needs to support keywordless search.18 votes
This will launch in Amsterdam.
We have a few users complaining the list view is limited.
Why is this constrained to only 11 collaborators per page? The paginated UX is cumbersome16 votes
I’m pleased to report that this change has now been released to all users. When looking at the Collaborators page for a given file or folder, you should now see far more than just 10 users per page, meaning less pagination clicks for you.
This was released as part of the external access indicators release! We’ve included an icon in the details sidebar to indicate external sharing status.
Currently, when a folder has external collaborators in it, we show a small globe icon for that collaborator in the Collaborators list (sidebar + full collabs page), but no other visual indicator at the folder level.Often, users want to quickly know "is this folder shared with anyone external/outside my company?" without having to manually comb through the full list of collaborators.REQUEST: Add a visual indicator (either folder color, icon, 'tag'/label, etc.) at the folder level (visible from within the folder and possibly from the files list as a badge) to indicate when a folder has external collaborators in it.14 votes
If you open “…” > File Request in the folder, you will see the “File Request” function.
There are 4 items in “Customize options” of file request.
There is a checkbox for each.
If you close the screen with this checkbox selected, the next time you open it, it is unchecked.
Can there be a save button so that we are not mistaken that we selected settings for the link? Or can the settings remain checked so that when we re-open the option, we can see that we did select settings for the link?13 votes

The ‘Add Tags’ button has now been re-added to the Action Bar when >=1 items are selected in the webapp.
Make new Web App comment timestamps exact, just like they were in Legacy.11 votes
We’ve updated the timestamps shown in the Activity sidebar of Amsterdam for Comments and Tasks such that they now show a more logical mix of exact and relative dates. Additionally, you can always hover over a timestamp to see a tooltip with the full day/date/time for any entry.
This was launched in March 2018. Wahoo!https://community.box.com/t5/Collaborate-By-Inviting-Others/Inviting-Collaborators/ta-p/19723#toc-hId--445567247
The old UI displayed the file version beside the name of the file. There are now a few clicks required in order to check the version of a file.7 votes
"Users find the "Item shared with you" and "invited to a folder" subject lines too generic and can be ignored".6 votes
Thanks for the suggestion! We recently updated the subject line of our primary sharing-related email notifications to make them easier to read and more action-oriented. We hope you enjoy!
Add a 'Recents' page/view to the webapp that shows the user a list of the recent items they've interacted with - whether opened, uploaded, etc. This 'Recents' list should be global - meaning if I preview a file in the Box iPhone app, that file should show in my Recents on the webapp as well.6 votes
Users can now access a ‘Recents’ page on web and a tab within the Box mobile apps.
