Allow dynamic links to work in watermarked documents
We want internal employees to be able to click into links but also prevent downloads and track who iss accessing the PDF

There is a non-public API endpoint that allow API keys to look within folders in trash to see what files are contained within.There is also a public API that allows you to search in trash: https://docs.box.com/reference#searching-for-content

As part of the Retention UI revamp that was released alongside Metadata Driven Retention on April 11, 2018, customers can now add more than one folder to a policy via the Admin Console. We now have greater parity between our UI and API.

Provide a way to delete or rename (API name) a metadata key
Once a mistake is made when creating a metadata template or key there is no way to delete the content. This poses a serious issue for developers especially if their code manages multiple EIDs. If a mistake is made, application code must be altered which is more difficult than being able to delete a key.
Having the ability to create templates via the API is not a real solution as one could always make a mistake in their template creation code.

Allow customers to plugin their own AI instances to Box
Customer is asking if they could plug-in their own AI instance in to box to analyze content that lives in Box.
They would like to swap Box's AI instance with their own AI instance. This will allow customers to use their own trained AI instance to analyze content in Box.3 votesThis is a great suggestion and is possible today via the Box Skills Kit. Customers can build a Box Custom Skill (in beta today) using their own ML/AI instance. We are investigating ways to make it even easier for customers to bring their own ML to Box down the road.

This is for requests that require the user to sign twice that is before and after everyone has signed so that they can confirm at the end of the form

Need to be able to use your Keyboard to delete items on the Canvas
It appears intermittent on when I can use my Delete key on my keyboard to delete shapes, lines or sticky notes.

We want to do this in the native user interface WITHOUT API's or custom development, similar to how File Request links can be branded.

Box Sign - Default values to template fields
Add default values to template fields. This way some fields can be prepopulated for the signer, but the signer still has the ability to change the field if needed.
2 votesWe’re incredibly excited to announce read-only and pre-fill fields in Box Sign, now available to all Box Sign customers! With pre-fill fields, you can pre-fill data within specific fields prior to sending documents. Additionally you can toggle certain fields as read-only, locking field data and preventing it from being modified by signers.

Additionally: Senders can pre-populate data into read-only fields when leveraging Box Sign APIs for prefill tags or the batch send feature, when inputting data into the custom CSV. Now you can leverage Box Sign for high volume use cases with greater control over field data, like employee handbooks, compensation plans, and much more. Template tags will support read-only fields as well, enabling senders with a more streamlined sending experience without the need to manually drag and drop fields and mark them as read-only.

Update Box Sign to be more compatible with Google Chrome. Can't consistently open agreement requests in Chrome.
Majority of the time I can't open an agreement request for signature in Google Chrome. I have to use a different browser in order to not see an error message.

This is an old request and lots of product improvements have been release since the date the request was created.
If you still experience the issue, please work with the support team to get it resolved or escalated to the engineering team.

Ability to use Box embed widget on separate Salesforce apps (such as "Sales Console")
Salesforce has features like "Sales Console" that has a different UI/UX than what Box for Salesforce integration currently supports, and Box embed is not behaving correctly within those apps. We would like Box for Salesforce to support the apps of this kind.
