Box Capture App needs a back button
Better navigation through the Box Capture app would be great. Since there is no BACK button, there is no way to easily navigate through the application which is a great. Having this option would make it easy to toggle back and forth between sub-folders and help speed up uploading information to their corresponding folders - Henry

(Android) Usage of Android App Bundles
This would reduce the installation size of Box by a significant amount on Android devices. I personally suffer from inadequate storage space, so this would be extremely useful for users like me.

When selecting a folder to move/copy items to in the Box for EMM/Box app, please make it possible to select from collections as well.
When moving/copying data in Box using iPhone, we need to point to a specific folder from the top hierarchy, which is time-consuming.
When selecting a folder to move/copy these data to, please make it so that the selection can start from the hierarchy where the data is.
Also, when selecting a folder to move/copy to, please make it possible to select from collections as well.
(We use the Box for EMM/Box application).iPhoneからBox内にあるデータを移動/コピーする場合において、トップの階層から指定のフォルダを指示する必要があり手間がかかります。
これらのデータの移動/コピー先を選択する際は、データのある階層から選択がスタートできるように設定して欲しい。

Document Scanning - Name document prior to upload
Currently not able to name a document or file prior to upload using document scanning & only renaming after it has been uploaded. Development requested to be able to name the file upon scan.

Showing PDF annotations on mobile applications
We would like the ability to show PDF annotations on both iOS and android, from different PDF applications. This would include Adobe PDF and Nuance PDF to name a couple.
Currently, when a PDF annotation is added from Adobe or another PDF software application, it is not possible to view that PDF annotation from the Box mobile application. You would have to download the PDF to the device locally to view any annotations.

Inability to lock files in Box Mobile
Box for Mobile app needs to allow users to lock files while editing otherwise it creates work to manually reconcile the differences from all the duplicates that are created. This renders working on common documents by many users ineffective.

PDF bookmark support for Android devices
We would like to see full implementation of PDF bookmark support for Android devices, similar to what the current iOS application offers. At present, there is an icon & text that indicates bookmarks should be accessible for PDFs, but in actuality the feature non-functional and not supported yet.

I would like to have access to the recycle bin using the mobile app for iOS devices
Right now only the web page permits to access the recycle bin to delete permanently files and folders.
It would be a great to develop an upgrade to have this option available also for the mobile device app.3 votes -
box app should open other apps in their own instance
It's very annoying when using box mobile (android) that when I want to send a file it opens the other apps inside the box instance and not in their own processes. For example a photo gets opened in f-stop which then shares to social media app but then all have to back out to get back to the box folder I started in and I can't keep any of those apps open where they were which in this case prevents adding a second photo to the same posts. I don't see this same trapped behavior in other apps.

Option to disable preview of PDFs on phone
When I open PDF on iPhone it displays correctly but box preview seems to be ignoring multiply/darken layers and just display them without this. This causes white boxes and images being cut one from another.

I would like to be able to take wide lens photos in Box Capture for iOS.
I work in the real estate business and used to take a lot of photos with Box Capture for iOS. But, apparently Box Capture only uses the standard lens of my iPhone 11 Pro. Is there a possibility that with an upgrade we will be able to use the wide lens and tele lens also?

Ability to open password protected files from mobile devices
Until a few weeks ago, password protected files could be opened through the mobile app from a mobile device. Now the attempt to open a password protected file results in an error of "Decryption failed. (null). Password protected files cannot be opened from mobile device from m.box.com or www.box.com either (error is different). Seems to defeat purpose of cloud based storage since so many users depend on a mobile device to open view files from Box storage.

Allow default to full screen view on iPad horizontal view (like portrait view)
I like to view box in full screen and because I use landscape view often, I have to hit the double arrow every time I go to a page. In portrait view it automatically goes to full screen view. I'd like an option to automatically go to full screen in landscape.

Mobile: The operation of accessing Box from an Office application and opening a file requires increased security.

Current status,The contents can be copied and pasted regardless of the Enterprise setting.
This will lead to the leakage of the content without the intention of the administrator.They need to control the copying and pasting of content when you access Box from an Office application and open a file.

When we open a PDF with the Box app (Box for EMM) on iPad, the Activity column appears on the right side of the screen.

It takes a lot of work to maximize this PDF, as you have to make one click each time.
We would like to prevent Activity from being displayed by default when previewing a PDF.If we use our iPad vertically, Activity will not be displayed, but it is assumed that we will use it horizontally.
