Thanks for the feedback. Adding @mention to the body of the Note is something that we believe would improve the annotations experience in BoxNotes. Although we can’t prioritize this feature at the moment, we will consider this feature when planning our future roadmap.

We are a huge proponent of this request and have been asking for it for quite a while. Focusing @mentions to specific portions of a Box Note would reduce many messages from being missed and without it, location context of the @mention within the Note is lost.

We problematically place several custom Box Note templates across our folder structure and we had to disregard the functionaility of annotations within a Note for these because they are stripped out when copying the Note to a new location. If annotations were held when copying we can add a whole additional layer of guidance/descriptive communication within the templates.
