This is not planned.
We don’t see enough customer demand for this yet, and supporting every additional content type takes a significant amount of engineering time and effort.

We understand the request, but unfortunately this is not on the near-term roadmap. We are currently prioritizing automatically locking/unlocking files on Box Drive for Office files on Windows. We will revisit this feature in the future.

Thank you for the feedback. We understand that the current permissions behavior for Box Notes images is not necessarily intuitive, and are actively looking into ways to improve that user experience. We don’t yet have a timeline for delivery, but will update here when its available.

I have the same feedback. Some of customers are keen to use “Notification” but don’t want to enable “Auto-folder mapping”.

The reason behind this request is that my customer shares an account for the primary admin with multiple users and when they create a co-admin, they can't track who actually executes it.

My customer would like to lower a risk by enforcing free external users with their company's email (see scenario below) to 2FA by email. The reason behind is if externaluser@xyz.com leaves company, he/she can still access to the collaborated folder(s) even though the email is deactivated by the company.
- Scenario-
My customer customer@abc.com collaborating with externaluser@xyz.com. Although externaluser@xyz.com uses company's email, his/her Box account is free one
