  1. Allow External Collaborators to Apply Metadata Templates / Add Values

    Currently, external collaborators in folders cannot apply metadata templates that originate in the folder owner's EID.

    REQUEST: Allow external collaborators to take advantage of applying Metadata Templates to folders based on the owner of the folder.

    Narrower use case than the other items on our roadmap so it will not be prioritized.

  3. Metadata on Bookmarks

    We heavily use Bookmarks for things that do not live within Box. We would like to have metadata applied to bookmarks for further search functionality.

  4. Auto transcribe associated Metadata into text as the file description upon import

    Our admin would like his metadata fields to be transcribed into basic text and added to the file in the description field.

    This will help admins and users understand more context about the file without having to look at each metadata field.

  5. Allow for multi language support of metadata keys

    It would be helpful to allow for admins to input their own translations of metadata keys that match supported languages of other parts of the webapp that are already localized.
