Our end-users need to be able to run index reports on their folders, which would include all sub-folders or files, to see what is located within them. This adds a great deal of friction to the process in that they need to reach out to an admin to get the report. Further, external collaborators aren't able to run these reports themselves - this impacts us both with frustrated external parties, and also from our own users, who can't run an index report on folders they collaborate on with other organizations.

I have a customer who is wanting their managed users to have the ability to run reports. They are aware that if they give them co-admin access these users can run reports, but they don’t want all their managed users to become co-admins. This customer is also receiving requests from their external users to have the ability to run reports. The external users don’t like having to submit a request to the Box admin to run the reports on their behalf, and because of this limitation, the external users have refused to work out of Box. This is becoming a major pain point for this customer and allowing external & managed users to run folder reports with details on the activity within the folder (downloads, previews, etc.) will help alleviate this and allow for continued collaboration
