Being able to include annotations in a downloaded file is an assumption that I (apparently erroneously) made was a given when using a document sharing system like Box. After using SharePoint for 3 years, I never imagined that this WASN'T something that Box did- I would have thought it was a core function. I'm now apparently spending my Saturday consolidating my team's comments on a document that we should have edited via e-mail, and then I will go to work and advocate moving to SharePoint as quickly as possible. Looking at the fact that this thread is TWO YEARS OLD, I'm guessing that Box has no intention of actually addressing this issue. This was my first customer experience using Box. So far, no good.
