I'm completely baffled with how the product ships without absolute basic functionality. This is a cloud sync software. How the heck can I not Edit the file with the appropriate app, make changes and have it immediately get synced back to the cloud?

I can't open a text file or my keepass kbdx file with my text editor or KeePass program respectively. It's a kludgy download, update with the app, exit the app, upload the file back to Box cloud. WTH?

On the Desktop side, I just uninstalled BoxSync and installed BoxDrive, just to find that it's hardcoded to use the C drive on which I have limited space. Instead of using my 2TB D drive.

Does anyone programming actually use the software? If not, how about using Dropbox which had this basic functionality a decade ago?

This is not on your roadmap? This should have been the very first item in your roadmap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's bad enough that Microsoft fills up my C drive with rubbish. Now I have a 100GB C Drive fighting with Box to store data while my 2TB D Drive is available for it.
