Make the new "Copy Shared Link" pop-up window optional
This new pop-up window slows down my workflow. I understand some people benefit from it, but please consider a setting to disable the window for fast, high-volume workers.

I want to hide [Download Box Drive] from the account icon menu.
When users click the account icon, an item labeled “Download Box Drive” is displayed.
Our company prohibits the use of Box Drive in order to promote the use of the Box web application, so having this item displayed causes significant inconvenience. It also results in an increase in inquiries to our support desk.
We would like the Admin Console to provide an option to show or hide “Download Box Drive.”（日本語）

Request for Improvement of BOX Drive Proxy Server Authentication Response Function
BOX Drive is not working properly in our environment.
We recognize that BOX Drive is designed to read Pac files, but the communication is succeeding up to the proxy server according to the Pac file.
However, it seems that it is not able to respond to the authentication response of the proxy server.As a result, when we open files in our Office products (Excel and Word) that cannot be opened in a web browser, we have to download the file once from

Box Drive built with the new architecture to not move deleted files/folders to the local Recycle Bin
For the new-architecture Box Drive, we have observed that deleting the following types of items primarily moves them to the local and Box Web trash.
・Folders with online status
・Folders with downloaded status
・Files with downloaded statusOne of the reasons customers choose Box is to improve security (prevent information leaks), and they expect to operate in a way that “data is stored locally as little as possible.”

Enhanced Hide Function for Drive Folders/Files
Starting with Box Drive v2.48, it has become possible to hide folders and files. This is a very welcome feature.
However, when the “Show hidden files” setting is enabled in File Explorer, even if you use the folder hide function in Box Drive, the target folder is only grayed out on the screen and not completely hidden.
Users would be pleased if a more complete hide function were implemented.

Controlling the Visibility of External Collaboration Folders in Box Drive via Admin Settings
We would like administrators to be able to control the visibility of external folders in Box Drive via the Admin Console.

Edit right-click action items when using the desktop app.
It would be really helpful to have the ability to customize which Box actions appear in the Finder right-click menu when using Box Drive on macOS. Currently, Box adds a large number of actions, which makes the context menu feel cluttered and pushes frequently used Finder actions further down. I’d like to be able to selectively enable or disable individual Box actions—for example, keeping “View on Box.com,” “Make Available Offline,” and “Copy Shared Link,” while hiding options like “Create a Box Note,” “Create a Box Canvas,” or “Search in this Folder.”

Box Drive Cloud Files: Selecting the Cache Storage
With the release of Box Drive Cloud Files, the specification for where the Box Drive cache is stored has been changed:
Traditional Box Drive: C:\Users<USERNAME>\AppData\Local\Box\Box\cache
Box Drive Cloud Files: Same folder as Box Drive
In our company, we have changed the Box Drive mount location and are operating with a reduced capacity on that mounted drive. Due to the above specification change, upload errors caused by insufficient space are occurring.

Redesigning Box Drive to Be More Resilient Against Ransomware Attacks
Due to the nature of Box Drive, once a ransomware attack occurs, it is easy for the damage to spread laterally, and the reality is that some companies with specific security requirements are unable to adopt it.
Of course, certain countermeasures can be implemented through the adoption of Shield Pro, the purchase of third-party products, or restoration operations. However, all of these require additional costs, and companies are often unwilling to approve them.

adding this screen to the copy link box drive workflow slows me down and you should get rid of it
the addition of this screen to the copy link tool from box drive commands in finder slows me down and has lead to me accidentally pasting incorrect links, passages, etc. because of the lag. please get rid of it and go back to just being able to copy the link without that useless confirmation screen

Show in Box Drive or Reveal in Finder from Box Web
When I am looking at file in Box on a web browser, I want a button that takes me straight to the file in Box Drive/a macOS Finder window. We can already do that in the other direction (see attached, "View on Box.com"); it would be convenient to be able to do this in both directions. I don't know what the Windows equivalent is. Would be great if we could see who has viewed a file. I upload a video, and would like to see which stakeholders have viewed it.

We need to control the ability for external individuals to access the online Box document upload only during business hours.
We need to restrict external users' ability to access the online Box document upload to business hours only. The thought is the admin controls should a) allow for the parameters to be set (M-F 9am-4pm, federal holidays excluded), and b) allow a custom message to be displayed outside of those hours/days.

Drive Map
It would be great if Box offered drive mapping with a drive letter, similar to Google Drive.
We've reached a bottleneck in our workflow because, as a content creation company, many of the applications we use such as Autodesk Maya require assets to be referenced using local file paths or mapped drive letters. Without this functionality, integrating Box into our production pipeline is difficult and limits its use for professional content creation workflows.

Adding an additional column in Box to show date of when file was created
I was reaching out to see if there is a possibility to add an additional column in the main page that specifies when the file was created. We had a user request such a thing and we used the admin access to see if there is a way to set this up from the admin console but were unable to find a way to do this on the web version of Box Safety.

Sync Box to an external hard drive
This should go without saying, but internal hard disks are far too small for cloud storage to sync, especially when using the cloud storage for large files such as video editing. We have several Terabytes of data on ours that we access all the time, as a group of editors. It's an absolute dealbreaker that we're forced to use the default location of the local drive to sync files using Box Desktop, and we would like the option of choosing an external hard drive or even a secondary internal drive to sync to. Box Drive does not allow aliases on MacOS. This continues to be an issue on MacOS Tahoe
All in the title. After remapping aliases that were left in the Archived Box Sync folder, moved them into Bob Drive locations and they aliases no longer work. While they worked correctly within the Archived Box Sync folder - they went bust on Box Drive locations.

Please make sure that Box Drive automatically launches after every update.
If an update occurs before Box Drive launches when I start up my PC, Box Drive will stop launching automatically. This is especially true for Box Drive versions based on the new architecture, where I might not even notice that it hasn't launched, so I'd like it to launch automatically.

Silent and Instant Copying of Shared Links in Box Drive
When using Box Drive via desktop sync (Mac=Finder, Windows=Explorer), selecting "Copy shared link" used to silently and instantaneously create a shared link and copy it to the user's clipboard. Since this was updated, a pop-up dialog opens in a new window and takes a few seconds to enable shared links and copy it to the clipboard. If the user navigates away from this window too quickly, the process does not complete, requiring them to start the process over. Then, upon completion, the user has to close the pop-up window.
