Ability to include subfolders on User Activity Report
There are times when we are asked to run reports for security investigations.
A lot of these requests call for reporting on a folder and all of its child folders.
We understand that this is currently not possible but was wondering if there was anything in the roadmap to include the ability to select a folder and possibly include another checkbox that says "include subfolders" or something along those lines.

I enabled notifications for the BOX REPORTS folder for uploads but this does NOT notifiy me when the report completes.

File folder tree report needed for potential security breach
Scenario: Employees have improperly stored data in box.com by marking data as public that should not have been labeled in such a manner. The data is sufficiently sensitive that the company would like to quantify and evaluate what has been labeled in such a way to make the data public.
8 votesIt sounds like what is being asked for here is a content report that includes history for when content was marked public. Create robust shared link reporting
Such as: The ability to nominate specific folders and all content within for which a report should be generated; Timestamp for when a Shared link was created; Who created it; What share permission was set and any settings that were applied; Timestamp for when a Shared link was changed/updated; What the new permission and settings are; Who changed it; Timestamp for when a shared link was removed; Who removed it

Show the storage used AND the storage capacity of each user (i.e. 1.5GB / 2.0GB)
Since users do not get messages letting them know when their storage is almost full, admins can see at a glance and give manual warnings

This filtering already exists in the Users & Groups UI.
Unless there’s a need to export that information, this functionality appears to meet the request.

Update the total storage metric as amount of storage increases
Currently total storage shown on the Admin Dashboard is always in GBs. Since we have multiple TBs or PBs in Box, this number can be difficult to read or convert off hand. It would be better if the metric updated once we pass each metric (i.e. GB, TB, PB, etc.)

Extension for the period of auto trash
The trash function has to auto delete after a set period of time and it causes big effects for retention function and legal hold. We would like to customize this period ourselves.
0 votesHi! When retention policies and legal holds are created via Box Governance, content on retention or legal hold will not get deleted from Trash.

Add 'Description' Field for Groups in Box
Groups in AD have a custom 'descriptions' field; the Groups feature should have the same parity to give more context to Groups within the Admin Console, especially, as a large company, we have many Groups that have similar names.
