  1. Limit the amount of data a user can delete

    There have been repeated incidents where users accidentally delete large amounts of data from Box Drive. Each time, administrators are required to restore the data.
    However, administrators cannot restore the data until the deletion process is fully completed, and even then, the restoration takes as much time as the deletion, which disrupts business operations.

    We would like to set an upper limit on the amount of data that users (other than Box administrators and co-administrators) can delete at one time, in order to prevent users from accidentally deleting large amounts of data.

    ユーザー(Box管理者および共同管理者以外)が一度に削除できるデータ容量の上限を設定することで、ユーザーが誤って大量のデータを削除してしまうことを防ぎたいと考えています。

  2. Users and Groups - Move "More Options" [...] Menu to Left-Hand Side of Page

    Admins regularly take repeated actions in the Users and Groups tab of the Admin Console - specifically Log in as User, and Add User to Groups. If the menu could be close to the user's name, this would make manual processing much easier for admins.

  3. Request for a function that can determine whether an email address is registered in the Suppression List

    If a welcome message is sent before the mailbox creation is complete, it will be added to the Suppression List as an invalid email address.
    However, I don't know which email address was added to the suppression list.
    Also, in the management of the suppression list, even if you delete it, it will come out again.
    I would like to request a function that allows you to see the email address registered in the Suppression List.

  4. Using public Beta for Folder Insights with Editor permissions

    Most users who need Folder Insights are editors.
    Also, invitations are often restricted for security reasons.
    I would like to see Folder Insights and reports downloadable even for invite-restricted editors.

  5. The upper limit on the number of file requests that can be "bulk deleted"

    Due to Box's specifications, you can delete file requests all at once using the following steps.
    However, if you try to delete nearly 1,000 file requests, you'll receive the error message "Failed to delete link." The following steps prevent you from deleting them.

     [Admin Console > Content > File Requests > Select multiple file requests > Click the trash can icon that appears]

    For security reasons, we need to periodically delete large numbers of file requests to prevent unnecessary requests from being available for a long period of time.
    However, currently, the only way to delete nearly 1,000 file requests…

  6. We want to change the owner of a file in the trash

    There is some content that we do not want to completely erase, but we would like to change the owner due to capacity issues.
    Therefore, we would like to change the owner of the files in the Recycle Bin.

  7. Ability to Reassign Group Admin Permissions En Masse

    Via the GUI, it would be great to be able to reassign group admin permissions to a user for multiple groups in bulk. Use case is one user is admin for many internal groups, they leave the org, and their admin role requires replacement.

  8. Change the word of the Reauthorize button for custom apps

    After changing the scope of a custom app that was created in the past from the Developer Console, the admin must re-authorize the app.
    After sending the authorization request, if you open the app details page from [Admin Console > Integrations > Platform Apps Manager > Target App], the scope before the change is displayed.
    We can check the scope after the change by clicking the Reauthorize button in the upper right corner of the screen and displaying the popup.
    After that, app approval is completed by clicking the Reauthorize button in the pop-up.

  9. Expired Shared Link lookup for Admins

    Problem: Admins often need to do investigation of files stored in Box and all they have to go off of is the file/folder's shared link.

    Many times, users are reaching out to Technical Support because a Shared Link is Expired.

    Key Features:
    -Provide ability to enter an Expired shared link (standard or vanity URL)
    -Information returned after searching:
    -File/folder name
    -File/folder owner
    -File/folder location (Owner -> Folder hierarchy)
    -Status (whether the file/folder has been deleted or not)
    -Admin-level 'delete' (ability for the admin to delete the file on the spot)

  10. Separate Auto Accept Collaboration Setting: Internal vs External invites

    Due to security requirement - we need to have the option to separate internal vs external collaboration for the below incomving invitations. The plan is to auto accept internal collaboration but not external collaboration.

  11. Log in as “AutomationUser” from the new UI Content Manager

    Content: Currently, it is possible to log in as a proxy via the Content Manager of the old UI, but it is not possible to log in as a proxy on the new UI.
    If the user is a managed user, you can log in as a proxy from the "Users and Groups" screen, but since AutomationUser is not displayed on the "Users and Groups" screen, you will need to log in as a proxy from Content Manager.
    Since not being able to log in as an AutomationUser has a large impact on our business, we would like this functionality…

  12. Co-Admin Self-Service Recovery for Deleted Accounts and Content

    Would love if Box could provide Co-Admins the ability to recover deleted accounts or folder/files from a deleted account within their own tenant without having to raise a support ticket with Box.

  13. Enable Admins to Recover Deleted Users Without Submitting Support Tickets

    Occasionally, Admins can delete a user (or large group of users) for one reason or another (license re-allocation, deleting users based off of perceived inactivity, etc.). Sometimes these users need to be recovered quickly to give users access to their Box account once again if this was done by mistake.   14. Matching display with Box Notes shared link settings

    If the Admin Console [Shared Link Permissions] is set to type "File: Can view and download" and type "Box Notes: Can view and edit",
    Depending on where you create a Box Notes shared link, the settings and permissions displayed do not match.This is the current specification.

    Created a shared link from a file list: The permission "View only" is displayed because the type is "File", but it can be edited.
    Creating a shared link from the Box Notes share button: The "Can edit" permission is displayed to refer to the type "Box Notes".

  15. User Offboarding (File/Folder Moves)

    I’d like to suggest an improvement to the user offboarding process. When we delete a user, it would be very helpful to have more granular control over where that user’s files and folders are moved within the tenant. This way we can choose someone and then maybe a subfolder they want the data placed in.

    Specifically, having the option to:
    - Choose the destination folder for the disabled user’s content.
    - Include checkbox option to include trash bin contents along with the rest of their files.

    This would make the offboarding process more efficient and ensure nothing is overlooked.

  16. External Users sortable columns and bulk deletion based on last active date

    Box makes it easier thru the Admin console GUI in the near future.
    For External Users a sortable column of “Last Active” and then bulk deletion is needed in the Admin GUI.

    It would also be nice to have the option in Security to set a threshold like 90 days inactive for External Users before auto-delete to manage this automatically going forward.

  17. Large Folder Operations dashboard with status, ETA, rollback, and reporting

    Requesting a centralized Large Folder Operations Dashboard in the Box Admin Console or via API to improve visibility and control over major content transfers.

    During a large folder ownership change, an unexpected behavior occurred where ownership polling and job sequencing did not reflect the actual state of completion. This led to a move propagating recursively from an empty child folder to an inherited, multi-million-object parent folder.

    A built-in dashboard would provide transparency into large operations and prevent this class of issue from occurring silently.

  18. In the Enterprise settings for device protection, add the global IP address used during client connection to the device trust requirements.

    I would like to add the global IP address that the client connects to as a target in the device trust requirements of the policies that can be set in the Enterprise settings for device protection. Currently, it is possible to apply for allowed IP addresses individually on a tenant basis, but it is not feasible to respond appropriately each time. By making it possible to set this as an item in this function, it will be possible to respond quickly and control the target in a limited manner, thereby improving operational management convenience and enhancing security. Please consider this.

  20. Request for the ability to remove from the Suppression List via API
