Long audio data upload from Box Mobile fails
When you "record audio" and tap "save recording" in the Box Mobile application, "Saving" is displayed, but the file is not saved on box.
It occurs when the capacity is large (recording time is long), and when it occurs, the recorded data disappears without being saved anywhere, which is a problem.
I'm hoping for an improvement that will allow stable uploading of long recording data.
If the upload fails, I would like the data to remain on the terminal or be able to retry.(Japanese)

Box Mobile アプリケーションで「音声を録音」し、「録音を保存」をタップすると、「保存しています」と表示されるが、box上にファイルが保存されない現象が発生します。
容量が大きい（録音時間が長い）場合に発生し、発生した場合に録音データがどこにも保存されずに消えてしまうことが問題となっています。
長時間の録音データでも安定したアップロードができるような改善を期待しています。
アップロードに失敗した場合は端末にデータが残るか、リトライできるようにしてほしいです。2 votesWe recently released improvements to the Box apps on both Android & iOS to help make it easier to upload large files.
If you now retry uploads of similar sizes and leave the app open while the upload takes place, you should see large files of all types completing consistently.
Please update to the latest version of the app available, and retry any uploads. If you are still experiencing issues, we would love to hear from you further to address any outstanding issues with the functionality.

Improve mobile upload stability. Mobile uploads current error out and don't recover.

Playback Speed on Mobile for Videos
I would like to play video contents with double speed in the mobile app's preview mode.
Currently you can change the speed of the video on web but it is not possible on mobile.
It would be great if you can add the playback speed (0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0) on mobile too.Thank you for your consideration.

Watermark of PDF and Excel files
We are not able to use watermark of PDF and Excel files on mobile devices such as iPhone and iPad. We would like to use this feature.

Seamlessly take and upload a large number of photos with Box mobile app
Please add the ability to take many photos in a row with the Box mobile app and the newly added Capture mode (widget).

thank you for your feedback. Please be advised you can now update Continuous Capture settings to skip review after capture what allows you to take many photos in a row with Box mobile app.

home button on iOS app
When I get many folders deep into Box on iOS, it would be helpful to have a home button to go all the way back to the top of my folder structure. Currently I occasionally have to click many times to navigate back to the top.

Would like to have a setting where I could hide the activity pane for all documents when iPad is in landscape mode.
I don't use the activity pane very often, but since I used my iPad docked in landscape mode with an external keyboard, the activity pane opens every time I open a document. Instead of having to minimize the activity pane each time I would prefer to have a setting where it is minimized by default and I open it only if needed.

Missing wakelock on Android app when playing video
When plays a video, Android app don't make a wakelock, so device goes to sleep very often, and I must do taps to prevent this! But most of taps decrease size of fullscreen video because of showing a bars by short time - very annoying, please fix this!

Lost feature in iOS
I used to be able to select a photo, click the arrow bottom left, and choose upload to box. Its disappeared. Is that an app feature that was removed? I don't see a way to add it in options.

please follow steps below to upload Photos directly to the Box app:
1. Select a photo/photos.
2. Click 'share'.
3. If you do not see Box app on the app list please click 'more' and from the list please choose Box app.
4. Choose desired upload location in the Box app.
5. Click 'Upload'

When opening pictures in full size on iphone 12 Pro with ios 14.4, the phone hangs after 4-5 pictures
It was working good on previous IOS 13.

the box.app is hanging on iphone 12 pro and ipad pro 11 2020, when browsing photos in full screen .both with latest firmare 14.4
You have to resolve the problem with ios 14.4 and 14.5 beta.

Box for iOS shows activity bar as default onscreen
When using box, the activity and comment tab is always showing onscreen. I must hit the full screen tab each time I open a new document. This should be defaulted to full screen, and a selectable feature to show comments, not the other way around imo.

Box drains my iphone 7 battery, even though it shouldn't be open or running in the background
Each morning I use a "Numbers" app file which is saved to Box on my iphone so that I can use it on my MacBook pro. The problem is whilst I haven't directly opened the Box app to do this save, it opens and continues to run in the background and drain the battery (60% in an hour is typical). Eventhough in the app settings "Background app refresh" is off as is "Notifications", I can only stop this drain if I turn the phone off and back on again. I am running ios 14.2 and I keep all apps up-to-date.…

When I click on a photo in Browse mode to bring it full frame, by default a side panel comes up labeled "Activity." i
I am running v.5.1.4 IOS for ipad. When I click on a photo in Browse mode to bring it full frame, by default a side panel comes up labeled "Activity." This is very annoying, as I constantly have to click on the photo to make it full frame and eliminate the side panel. My suggestion: this should be a user option, rather than a default that cannot be changed. Most users do not use this Activity feature; why is it the default setting? This is a change on this new version 5.1.4. Please fix this on the next version.

iPhone default preview mode
With the recent iOS app update, all PDF’s when previewed in Landscape mode display the “activity” screen on the right hand side by default. This is an unwanted feature and I would prefer defaults to show the "activity" screen collapsed.

Add Capture functionality on Box mobile app
I regularly recommend Capture to users in our org as a solution to streamlining the collection of photos and videos Box. I’d say about 1/3 of our users have Android devices so they’re not able to take advantage of it, unfortunately.
As an aside, I’d love to just see the Capture functionality consolidated into the main Box app so that that users don’t need to download a separate app in the first place.

Fix accessibility of iOS app please
Please make the iOS app more accessible.
Issue: When navigating folders, focus is on the wrong folder and there is no way to fix it. To replicate, turn on VoiceOver and drag your finger over the folders to navigate and hear them read aloud, stopping before you get to the bottom of the page. Then swipe to navigate through the folders. By the time you get to the bottom of the first page's list, the focus is lost and the only way to get it back is to kill the app and restart it. Frustrating when you have multiple pages…

Open shared links on Box mobile app
When tapping an iOS icon tied to a Box shared link, the file should open immediately in the Box app instead of redirecting to the mobile web page where the user sees the option to "Open in Box App," "Download for free," "View on Box Mobile Site."
