Device Trust Hour/time of day Limitations
Restrict time of day users are able to access Box with Device Trust. Our users should not be working hours that are not documented/billable.
We have contractual and legal controls which put them at risk if employees are working outside of these hours.
There may be larger demand for this due to the amount of security breaches that occur during odd/non-working hours.
Time zone control would probably need to be included in this limitation.

We believe our efforts are better spent making it easier to keep permissions up to date on folder vs. different expiry on collab invites.

PFX files contain both the public certificate and private key. We only plan to check public certificates, which can be separated from the PFX by installing and exporting as .cer: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/403174/convert-pfx-to-cer

Only AV checks and FW checks will not work on Windows Server today. This is because the info we use to evaluate is not available on Servers (it is available on Windows Workstations).
This enhancement is not planned for now, but we will investigate what will be required to support Windows Server in the future.

This is not planned for the short-term roadmap. We will reconsider with additional customer demand.

Restrict Co-owner's ability to invite additional Co-owners to a folder
Currently, once a user is granted co-owner permission to a folder, they gain the ability to grant the same permission to other users.
We would like an option that would only allow co-admins to grant permissions that are limited to editor and lower
0 votesI don’t think we would necessarily do this.
If you are a co-owner, we want you to be able to invite others up until your permission level.

It would be great to get more insight into how you are thinking about this. For example:
- Who would revalidates the user?
- Does your company have an idea on how they’d like to revalidate users?
- How often?
- What is the current workaround (if any)?
- How does this impact your use of Box today? -

Provide support SentinelOne as an antivirus on Mac (already supported on Windows).
We are currently using SentinelOne as our corporate antivirus. Device Trust will recognize this as an Anti-virus when Box is used on Windows. However, Device Trust will not recognize the Mac version of the same software.
0 votesFor Windows, we can support any AV that Microsoft detects in Windows Security Center, which includes SentinelOne.
For Mac, developing checks for each vendor is a separate effort where we need to both discover a way to detect if a vendor is being used and also re-test and maintain this code.
Due to the resource-intensive nature, we will not be adding SentinelOne in the near future.

Virus Scan Alert on virus-found should send to co-admin as well
Since the Box administrator account is not tied to any IT member, it is very impractical for us to review the emails this account receives.
Thus, we would like to request such emails to be sent to co-admins as well.
0 votesAs an alternative to the email sent to the admin, virus scan alerts are logged in the Box Events API.
FILE_MARKED_MALICIOUS event that indicates a virus is found on a file in Box.

Although Box cannot run a report to display all classified content, you can make use of Box’s search functionality to achieve the same purpose.
An Admin or Co-Admin with sufficient privileges to search enterprise wide content can search content classified with a specific label.

Audit log of standard Box encryption key access without deploying KeySafe
We want audit logging to show every time our Box KEK is accessed to decrypt their content within the Box infrastructure. This would be above and beyond the audit logging already provided for previews, downloads, uploads, etc. in the Events API.

Apply upload policies at the folder level
We want to monitor PII, but only in specific places.
