The new left pane color scheme makes the menu items more difficult to read. In the prod environment the Favorites icons are easily recognized by their color, but in the beta UI they all seem to blend together.13 votes
Hi team ,
I received a feedback from a client that the new UI made the line spacing bigger and would like to make the line space to decrease to before so that they can see more files in one screen.
Can you please consider this or be able to have option to change the line space?
Thank you in advance for the consideration9 votes
Thanks for the feedback. We have made this change in order to make it easier for users to read and scan their file lists. While other users have made similar comments when they first saw the change, many of them have also told us they adapted to the change and prefer the new design.
When a file is selected (but not being previewed), the updated placement and design of UI buttons make it easy to accidentally select "Trash" when I mean to select "Upload New Version" or "Download." Please move the "Trash" button to a location that would require more determined thought to select it. Alternately, "Trash" could be spelled out or an otherwise more unique UI button.5 votes
Thanks for the feedback. Currently, we have a tooltip that shows “Trash” when hovering over the icon. We will keep monitoring to see if other users share the same confusion.
Provide an 'Email shared link' button, prominent in the UI like it used to be2 votes
Thanks for the feedback. Decluttering the top action bar and leaving the top user actions is one of the major goal of our new UI. Currently, you can click on the “Share” button for the file, and the “Email” icon within the share window.
In the new UI beta, the Dev Console and Admin Console have been pushed too far to the bottom of the page. Whenever you hover over a link in Chrome, the URL preview covers up the Admin Console link. Suggestion would be to move both up to be a section beneath the collections.2 votes
