    When using Microsoft 365 apps via OneDrive/sharepoint links, the file will open online for editing and collaboration. It then gives you the option to Open in Desktop App so you can make full use of the software while still collaborating with other people at the same time.

    In Box, and opening the file in the online Microsoft editor, the option to open the file in the desktop app is not available.

    It seems that feature may only be available if you work from OneDrive, since its all native Microsoft. But it would be super cool if it could be worked out to be available with Box.
