Box Shield MIP Integration with GCC High
For customers with GCC High environments (Microsoft), Purview is not currently able to be integrated using the Box Shield integration (as it can be with the commercial version of Purview) to map the MIP Sensitivity labels with Box Shield's classification labels. We would like to see Box Shield to be able to integrate with Purview when it lives in Microsoft's non-commercial environments, including GCC High and DOD.

Support CrowdStrike integration to GovCloud
Support CrowdStrike integration to GovCloud. Currently the integration with CrowdStrike Falcon only supports the commercial tenant of CrowdStrike and cannot interface with our GovCloud environment.

Support Copilot Integration with Multiple Box Environments under a Single Microsoft Tenant
Many enterprises operate under a structure where a single Microsoft tenant is shared, while Box environments are separated by legal entity.
With the current limitation that Copilot × Box integration is restricted to a 1:1 relationship, it is difficult to achieve both group-wide Copilot adoption and proper information governance.
Enabling secure integration with multiple Box environments while maintaining a single Microsoft tenant would unlock significant value, including group-wide AI utilization, greater flexibility for M&A and organizational restructuring, and the avoidance of unnecessary Box environment consolidation or Microsoft tenant separation.＜日本語＞

Support for shared links in MCP
Add a shared link resolution tool to the Box MCP server that accepts a Box shared link URL and returns the corresponding file or folder ID and metadata. Shared links are the primary way our users share content in Box, and without this capability, an agent cannot act on a shared link that a user provides directly. Users share links with colleagues as a natural part of their workflow; they should be able to share them with an AI agent the same way.

Metadata Taxonomy Searches MCP Server
We use taxonomy fields in some of our metadata templates. Using Claude.ai to access our data via the Box MCP Server we are unable to search taxonomy metadata fields. Enabling this would be very helpful for our use case. Thank you.

Update Salesforce SDK Automatically using Box OpenAPI Spec
The current SDK (https://github.com/box/box-salesforce-sdk) is very outdated and not well-maintained. With Box's ability auto-gen SDKs, we would like the SDK team to evaluate adding Salesforce Apex to the list.

Showcase thumbnail teams when a file is uploaded via Teams drag & drop
Thumbnail previews in Microsoft Teams integration with Box are currently limited to items shared from Box (either through a shared link or the "Share from Box" content picker button), but not on the Upload from desktop functionality within Teams.

Box for Salesforce app: enable conditional display of another record's folder rather than creating a new folder for a particular record
Enable conditional display of another record's folder rather than creating a new folder for a particular record. Ideally, this would be able to be done in the lightning page when you add the Box component to the page, by allowing the admin to select a record field, or a related record's field (not just a label) where the folder id is stored.
Use case: allowing a parent record's folder to show in all of its children so that all of the documents related to the parent are stored in a single place.

box for slack:Image preview is not displayed in Slack Canvas
When using the Box+Slack integration, if I paste an image into Slack Canvas, no preview is displayed, only the file name is displayed. This is different from Slack messages.

Allow a single Microsoft Tenant to connect to more than one Box EID. We have two box EID's, one for "regular" content and the other for "FTI".

Zapier "Find a File" Exact Match
It would be great for the "Find a File" action to be restricted to exact match. We are looking to create an automation that pushes a follow-up PDF to the same folder as the original by "Finding" the original.
Seems to work about 70% of the time, but when it fails, files could be accessed by others due to placement in the incorrect folder.

Utilizing Photoshop and Illustrator Files Without Box Drive
Currently, files that use external references (links) in Photoshop and Illustrator cannot access those references when opened directly from Box. Our company handles a large number of such files, but due to security concerns, we have not enabled Box Drive, which has hindered our effective use of Box. If external references could be utilized without Box Drive—similar to how Excel handles them—it would significantly enhance our ability to leverage Box.

Enabling Document Tab creation in a Box G Doc.
Currently when creating a GDoc from box there is no ability to create Document Tabs, and it advises to save the doc as a GDoc, which is technically already the file format. Can this feature be enabled? It would be useful for project management without our company.

Support Document Tabs in Google Docs.
I am a heavy user of Document Tabs [1] to help with my productivity and organization when using Google Docs.
However, if I create a Google Doc from Box or if I save my Google Doc from Google Drive into Box, the document tabs that I use are removed and the document tab feature is disabled. Because I don't have this feature, I am avoiding the creation of my Google Docs and storing my Google Docs in Box because it is causing a major disruption to my productivity.

Multi-tenant support for Box Graph Connector
It is a very common configuration to have a single Microsoft 365 tenant and a multi-tenant Box, but the Box Graph Connector is only available for one Box tenant.
Box Graph Connector should be supported even if Microsoft 365 is single-tenant and Box is multi-tenant.8 votes -
ChatGPT connector
Current customer using the ChatGPT plug in with Box and need to prevent the ChatGPT API from triggering a piece of content download notification to the owner of the file or folder. Would there be a way to get the text rep without it being treated as a download, or a way to exclude certain actions from the notification stream?

Copilot support in Office Online/Office desktop applications for files on Box
Currently, Copilot (Copilot in Word/Excel/PowerPoint) is not supported for Office files in Box.
The following must be supported for files in Box
(1) Copilot in Office Online
(2) Copilot in Office desktop applications (with or without co-authoring)

Open Microsoft Office in embedded Office app by default
If I have, say, an Excel file in my Box account, I can right-click on it, choose Open with..., then choose Excel Online, and it'll open up in the embedded version of Excel. That's wonderful! However, since I almost always want to open my Excel files that way, I'd really like an option to have that happen automatically when I open the file without right-clicking on it. This would save me a bunch of clicks over time.

Grammarly in Box for Google
We'd like to be able to use Grammarly in the google docs, sheets, and slides that we store and access on Box. Currently, the Grammarly extension for Google Chrome (our typical browser) works fine on other sites, but not within Box.
