Not having the ability to organize folders that have been shared with me is a serious problem for any file management service. Both options 1 and 2 are viable solutions for preventing root folders from becoming disorganized and preventing wider adoption of Box for my department and others and one of them, if not both, needs to be implemented to be able to maintain some level of structure/organization otherwise it defeats one of the main purposes of a file management service.
