Customize 'Get Training' Link in '?' Menu
Currently the '?' menu in the webapp header includes a few links, including the following blurb: "Need more help? Visit our Help Center or Get Training"
'Help Center' by default links to the Box Community site (community.box.com), but we allow admins to override this link via the 'Support Site URL' field in Admin Console -> Enterprise Settings -> Custom Setup.
'Get Training' is also linked in the blurb above (linking to training.box.com), but we currently do NOT allow admins to customize this URL.
This is problematic for some customers (especially large customers) that have fully staffed internal training teams that…

Add "MAC address" and "Last active date" to the "Application Usage" section of the App Use Management page in the admin console
This gives more context when admins are reviewing app usage.
0 votesThank you for your submission. However, this does not have enough demand in order to be prioritized.
We will reconsider with additional use cases.

The solution to this issue is to transfer ownership of folders prior to deletion of the user account to avoid loss of data.

Admin determines fixed tags for accuracy
Give the admin the ability to create a "template" of tags to use so that end users have to follow a set model.
3 votesI think metadata will end up being the mechanism for this.

Provide API's to Shared Link Settings
A few business units feel very strongly that our configuration of defaults for Box accounts is not secure enough. They want the option for teams to opt in to a more securely provisioned account. As long as there are APIs for these account defaults and we are able to identify the users, we should be able to script it.

Disable/enable feature announcement notifications on an enterprise level for all users
This would be added to the enterprise settings for default email notifications. The users are receiving many notification and sending out instructions to all of them to change on a user level seems to be out of the question.
4 votesThis is not a priority at the moment given our roadmap commitments. We will reconsider with additional demand.

Account Settings - Home Page: Allow Co-Admins to Make Admin Console Their Home Page
Within the new UI, a new user-level setting was added to Account Settings that allows users to choose their default Home Page in Box - All Files, Favorites, or Recents.
Additionally, Primary Admins can choose to have the Admin Console as their homepage. However, Co-Admins do not see this option.
REQUEST: Allow Co-Admins to also choose the Admin Console as their Home Page

Add ability to trigger email confirmation when adding an email alias from blacklisted domain
Example: gmail.com is a blacklisted domain. If an admin tries to add a gmail.com alias for a managed user via the API, the call will fail with a 400 response.

Usage Logs and Admin Events don't report version reversion
ITEMMAKECURRENT_VERSION is a Standard User Event in the API but doesn't show up in Usage Logs or Admin Events.
When a previous version of a file is promoted as the latest version, we do not receive an enterprise notification for that.
If we quarantine a file (create tombstone as say version 2) and the user makes the v1 version as latest (v3), then the event received is of type user event and not an enterprise event, which makes us not be able to process such a change.

Please expand user name character field limit from 50 to 100 words.
Global companies need local characters such as Japanese and English for name field and 50 is short for some names
1 voteThis suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap. Once we see more traction from customers who want are requesting this functionality, we can revisit our decision.

The Ability to Search for Users by Secondary Email Address
In the Admin Console, there is currently no way to search for users by their secondary email address.
When the Admin goes to create a new user with an email address that is already in use by an existing account, they have no way of seeing who is using the email address without checking their users' account details individually.
4 votesThis suggestion is not under consideration for the current or future roadmap. We are currently focusing on improving the current experience to manage users in the Admin Console before we add enhancements to search.
