In 2022 Box Web achieved substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.0, level AA. Box web includes more features than a.box.com, including the ability to create Box Notes. Going forward, Box will strive to provide a universal experience rather than a separate accessibility site.
In 2023 a.box.com will be retired and all users will use Box Web (app.box.com). We recommend transitioning off of a.box.com as soon as possible.
We are continually working to improve the usability and accessibility of Box Web and Box Notes.
Any feedback on the usability or accessibility of Box Web is welcome.

Favorites: Access Favorites from More than Just the All Files Page
If favorites really is supposed to be the easiest way to direct to frequently access content, being able to see it on every page in Box (not just on the all files page), at least as a dropdown option, would be really useful.

Ability to clear notifications
User would like to be able to clear all notifications in their notifications window
1 voteThis is solved in the new Web App UI – the messages page defaults to unread only, and you can easily mark messages as read.

Icon Indication of a File Marked as "Favorite" at the Folder Level
"When a file is marked as a favorite, there is no way to tell it is a favorite within the folder. You need to either click on ALL favorites, or look at the properties." If there was an icon indicating that a file has been marked as a Favorite, I believe that it will be easier to find.
0 votesThis is currently possible. If you select a file, you can see whether it is favorited in the star next to it’s name above the file list.

Deletion confirmation prompt on Amsterdam
In the Legacy Webapp, when a user deletes content, they get a pop-up to confirm the deletion.
However in Amsterdam, they're only getting a black pop-up notification for the deletion with the 'Undo' Button.
The enterprise would like to see the pop-up confirmation in Amsterdam too!

Disabling the "Get Box Sync" setting in end users' Account Settings Menu
When a user signs into their Box account, they have the option to view their account settings toolbar. One of the settings is Get Box Sync, which directs users to the Box website with the Sync installer.
However, for large organizations, end users do not have administrative privileges to install such a tool. In these situations, customers use a deployment tool to assist in pushing (or making available) the tool to end users. By using these tools, end users do not require admin privileges to install the tool.
Having this option in the UI is confusing to end users and…
4 votesIt is possible for the admin to disable the “get sync” message in web app (because we copied that functionality to allow admins to disable “get Mobile” as well). If the admin disables this, then it should meet the request above. We don’t have any plans to allow users themselves to suppress this message from user account settings.
