    Thank you for the suggestion. Box currently offers the ability to lock folders using the folder lock API - https://developer.box.com/reference/post-folder-locks/


    We do not have a feature on our roadmap to expose this functionality from Box Drive. We will place this in our backlog as we continue evaluating ideas to improve Box Drive.

    Please keep the feedback & use cases coming to help us prioritize this in the future!

    Yes, this is a constant issue. Please add a lock or warning or add appropriate permissions level that prevents this but still allows for editing.
