    Hey Box Team,

Appreciate an update on this one. The product still has a very frustrating experience in this area. I'm authorized to see a box note or box file that's shared with me, but I "do not have permission to add this note to a collection"?

This approach means I have to no longer trust or use the Collections feature to organize content I have access to, and I am ***forced*** by Box to use a solution outside of the product (e.g. browser bookmarks) in order to keep track of content/links within the product.

Please reconsider the approach here - I'd like to use the Collections feature to holistically manage and organize the content I have access to.

    Hey Box Team,

I often receive links shared by colleagues that take me directly to a shared file (which is great). Sometimes, I only have access to the file itself and not the parent folder where the file lives since these are shared with me via Shared Link. That's fine, I only need access to the given file

These docs are helpful, and I want to categorize them in my existing Collection categorization.

Even though I'm logged into box.com, when the link is shared I have very few options available:
    - I can "Go to My Account"
    - I can download the file
    - I see "Report Abuse" in the meatballs menu.

It's also nice that the file appears in my "Recents" view. But these options are painful and inhibit the ability for me to fully utilize the Collections feature in Box. If I want to keep these Shared Links in some organized solution (which is what Collections is meant to facilitate), I'm forced to make a bookmark or otherwise manage this organization of content outside of Box. That's frustrating.

Instead of forcing me to categorize Box content in a solution outside of Box, I need a way to assign these Shared Links to my Collections, just like I can with other shared content in Box.

    Thanks!
