If you want to open MBOX file without any installation and configuration then you can freeware Mbox viewer tool of MailsDaddy software. Also, it provides a pst viewer to read any Outlook data file.

If you don't know about the Gmail GAMMO tool, then I want to tell you that it is a freeware tool to import PST files to a Gmail account. But for your MBOX data, you need to convert MBOX to PST format first, then you can open mailbox from MBOX in Gmail account.
