Need for User Self-Removal from the Suppression List
Currently, only Box administrators or co-admins can remove email addresses that have been added to the Suppression List.
Furthermore, users cannot tell whether they are on the Suppression List and have no choice but to contact an administrator.
To reduce the burden on administrators, it is desirable that users be able to remove themselves from the Suppression List.

現在、Suppression List に登録されたメールアドレスの解除は、Box 管理者または共同管理者にしかできません。
また、ユーザーは自分が Suppression List の対象になっているか分からず、管理者に連絡するしかありません。

I want to save Copilot for Microsoft 365-generated content directly to Box
Currently, when I use Copilot’s generative AI features, the only default save destination is OneDrive—Box isn’t even an option. For those of us who live and breathe Box it would be fantastic if we could save Copilot-generated content directly to Box and keep everything in one place.
Right now, every time Copilot asks, “Save to OneDrive?” I feel like saying, “Nice try, Copilot, but my heart belongs to Box!” Please help us Box fans avoid this daily heartbreak and make Box a first-class citizen for Copilot saves. Thank you!

Enable selecting files stored in Box directly in File Requests
Currently, file request links only allow you to upload files from local folders.
This is convenient if you use Box Drive, but users who rely solely on the browser have to download files from Box and then re-upload them via the file request link.I would like the file selection for file requests to allow choosing not only folders on the PC, but also files already stored in Box directly from the browser interface.

現在、ファイルリクエストリンクでは、ローカルフォルダ内のファイルしかアップロードできません。
Box Drive を利用している場合は便利ですが、ブラウザのみを利用するユーザーは、いったん Box からファイルをダウンロードしてから、ファイルリクエストリンクへ再度アップロードする必要があります。ファイルリクエストでアップロードするファイルの選択時に、PC上のフォルダだけでなく、ブラウザ画面から Box 内に保存されているファイルも直接選べるようにしてほしいです。

Make Folder Auto-Delete Retry Past-Due Items
Please improve Folder Automatic Actions so that folders with a deletion date in the past are also included in later auto-delete runs.
Currently, if deletion fails on the scheduled date for any reason, the folder remains undeleted afterward.
Requested change:
configured deletion date = processing date
→ configured deletion date <= processing date
This would make auto-delete more reliable even when processing is missed due to maintenance or a temporary issue.【In Japanese】

要望する変更内容:

→ 設定された削除日 <= 処理日

We want to easily check the initial upload date of a file
Currently, the “Created” property shown for a file represents the date when the content was originally created, including in a local environment, and the “Modified” property indicates the date when the content was changed after being stored in Box.
Since the “Updated” date is overwritten every time a change is made, the only way to find the file’s “initial upload date” is to go through the version history and check the date of the very first version (Ver.1), which is time‑consuming.
Therefore, I would like a new “Initial Upload Date” field to be added to the file properties.

We would like to be able to check users’ departments from the UI:
Currently, you can view the usernames of users invited to a folder and the permissions granted to them within that folder.
However, there is no field in the account profile settings for entering a user’s department, so it cannot be easily checked.
While it is possible to work around this by adding the department to the username, this makes usernames longer and harder to read.

Make login box for SSO configurable
When a Box environment switches to SSO Test Mode, the login dialog box changes so that it has two buttons: "Continue" and "Not part of <org name>." This is confusing to users - they may not know IT is testing SSO, and not know what to do to access Box at that time.
If those two buttons' labels were configurable, admins could replace that text with something clearer to their users, such as "Click her to log in with Microsoft credentials" and "Click here to log in with Box username and password."

Improvement of API performance and creation of guidelines for API usage
When utilizing Box’s API, if the amount of content per folder is enormous or the number of invitations to a folder is high, the processing speed drops significantly. As a result, it takes a long time to complete operations, which is quite frustrating.
We would like the API to deliver a more comfortable and speedy processing experience, so I hope you will improve the performance when using the API.
Additionally, there are currently no guidelines regarding API performance, so we have no choice but to verify performance degradation through testing.

Section to know who our buisness subscription contact is
Could there be a section within our account that shows our current point of contact (e.g. Account Manager)?
Our point of contact appears to change frequently, and we are often contacted by different people with various roles. It can be difficult to keep track of who we should contact when we need assistance.

Please make it possible to use standard Windows shortcut keys in Box as much as possible.

Implementation of the “Keep me signed in” and “Resume from the last viewed screen” features in Personal Settings
Please keep user sessions active for a certain time even after the browser is closed.
Specifically, we would like users to be able to resume their work from the folder or screen that was open the last time they accessed Box, rather than from the home screen.
Please also allow users to select and change these options in their personal settings.

Limit file naming to match Windows and iOS Requirements
Box allows special characters in file names that Windows and iOS do not. This causes an issue when we sync files between Box and our network server: Box will accept special characters when naming or renaming a file on the Box side - but when that syncs back to our servers - the file name contains bad characters that windows doesn't recognize - so the file doesn't sync.
Please limit your file naming to disallow the same special characters as Windows and iOS.

Add ability to add a custom image for the banner on File Request pages like is available on Box Hubs
Please add the ability to upload a custom image for the banner on File Request pages just as you do on Hubs. This would solve for the issue of the tiny logo area available for File Request pages and would also allow for a more seamless transition on different pages in Box (Hubs and File Requests for example)

Re-add capability to get more custom colors (including Hex Value) for File Request page banner
Very recently a customization was removed from Box File Request theme settings that our managed users (about 3700 currently) used to use frequently. This was the ability to choose from the whole spectrum of colors (getting as specific as Hex Value) for the banner on File Request pages.
Our users own their own businesses, and the current selection of colors sometimes does not always correspond well to the logo image that they have uploaded. This makes the page not look professional and lowers the validity of our users' businesses. Please re-add this capability soon!1 vote -
Ability to customise the content of the notification emails
Currently, Box does not offer the ability to customize the content of the notification emails sent when sharing a link or inviting a collaborator. The email notifications are standardized and cannot be modified to include additional instructions or guidance.
We are seeing an increase in clients reporting difficulties accessing links and files shared via Box. To help mitigate this, we would like to include additional guidance within the notification emails sent to recipients at the point of sharing.

Quota Storage reporting
We have implemented Storage Quotas for our users and need a way to view if users are reaching their quotas. The only current way we have of doing this is doing a Users Details report and comparing the Storage Used and Storage Allocated fields. Have a dedicated Storage Quota report that shows percentage used and even projected dates for running out of space would be nice.

Want to Restore Data Within a Specified Period
Content: The current Box feature does not have the capability to restore data within a specified period.
While you can check the deletion date within the trash, it takes time to verify if a large amount of content has been deleted, making immediate response difficult.
※In the case of "Restore All," all content will be restored, which may cause locking by LFO and impact operations.
For example, we hope for the implementation of a feature that restores content deleted within a specified period in the trash.(日本語)
