    GoogleDrive ran into the same problem, but the developers are working to fix that. A vigorous discussion on their developer boards. What about Box?
    I can't use Box Drive on Monterey computers for sharing files any more. It was a good medium, but no more.

    Support for Spotlight on macOS is out with the release of version 2.53 (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/53361463306515-Box-Drive-v2-53-Release-Notes).


    The request will be left in the "gathering feedback" stage, as Finder/File Explorer search functionality does remain limited.
