    The ability to use an external drive as the backing for your Box Drive folder location, instead of the storage on your PC, was released in 2.51 (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/50526763690643-Box-Drive-v2-51-Release-Notes).

    For the ability to make specific sets of folders/files offline, you can mark files for offline (https://docs.box.com/en/box-drive/getting-started-with-box-drive/making-content-available-offline).

    Please note these features are specifically for Box Drive.

    With MFO-ing single items now unblocked for both macOS and Windows, we anticipate this to be a feature that might be even more of interest. We'll look into how best we might be able to make this happen if so, but would love to gauge if there is still interest in this functionality.
