    In honor of a colleague who has fought the same ordeal for years.
    *[Editor]Privileges can be mishandled, and administrators don't like to use them.

    To begin with, there seems to be a discrepancy between the interpretation of the "cannot rename" specification and the actual functionality.

    I believe that only single file renames should be restricted, and that alias uploads should be excluded from the restriction.
