    Instead of “require password” security control, we intend to support “Require OTP” requirement for public links (via SMS, Email, or TOTP). I wanted to share where we are headed. We do not plan on delivering this ask as is, but we do intend to solve the security use case behind it.

    Box is such a nice and extensible tool. There are so many options to secure things that it really surprises me this isn't an option.

    Not only does this sorely need to be added, but it should be the default setting for all new environments. This is a standard feature that is available on far less sophisticated fileshare solutions.
