   Up voting - this would help us not duplicate fields across metadata templates and also empower other teams to adopt metadata templates that make sense to them (rather then enforce a single template)

   This would also solve the problem of cross zone data being fetched.

   eg.

   US server requests events, events include EU folder data.

   By specifying a folder id we could specify a US folder and not compromise on data residency and processing compliance
