   Thank you for the suggestion. Box currently offers the ability to lock folders using the folder lock API - https://developer.box.com/reference/post-folder-locks/

   
   

   We do not have a feature on our roadmap to expose this functionality from Box Drive. We will place this in our backlog as we continue evaluating ideas to improve Box Drive.

   Yes we would also welcome this feature. When folders with large amounts of data are moved accidentally it is a real showstopper for our business and one that we could do without.
   It mainly happens with Box Drive users and it always amazes me how quick the files are to move but not so quick to move back and rectify.
   A fix for this is urgently needed.
