    This would be very useful for our use case (browsing a large collection of photos/videos) as well - just a plain grid of thumbnails would be a great way to visualize it - assuming the thumbnail enhancement can be added:

    We have a very similar use case. Separating the picking from the exploring is problematic since they kind of go hand-in-hand.

    These fields are not generally useful for archival read-only repo purposes since it's the date of upload and the archive owner (rather than the original content date and owner) shown. It's meaningless and confusing data taking up screen real estate in this case. Ability to hide it would be a huge win for us as well.
