    Support for Spotlight on macOS is out with the release of version 2.53 (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/53361463306515-Box-Drive-v2-53-Release-Notes).


    The request will be left in the "gathering feedback" stage, as Finder/File Explorer search functionality does remain limited.

    The functionality of the Box Drive search is terrible. Searching for the exact name of a file does not bring it up at all. The ability to search from Windows is absolutely critical. I would not recommend Box Drive to anyone as it is essentially broken in this state.
