    This capability is available on macOS. For Windows users, we are working on the Box Drive Cloud Files version, which addresses this issue due to its completely different architecture. Please see more details here

    Searching locally synced files is very valuable as you can limit the search context to the desired portion of the tree structure. Also, once you find the desired file it reinforces their location.
    The Box Drive search is much less valuable as the search context is way to broad, searching Box files I have zero interest in.
