Drive: Search for offline files when disconnected from internet
Box Drive should have search functionality when offline and for items that are marked for offline.

We realy heavily upon searches inside files with Box Sync: we look for specific text inside variuos files in folders (excel for example) but this simple a vitel task is not available in Box Drive. Please add it, thanks

Hello Box Pulse Support,
Box Drive should have an offline search of files for travellers as the Internet is not available everywhere.

The search function is appallingly bad. I have a large number of files on Box and for some reason Box Drive stopped indexing them, so I cannot even use Box's search tool now, let alone the native Mac search tool. The native search tool works quite easily with Dropbox, but my institution uses Box.

PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE! The function of Offline files is that they are in fact offline, and I should be able to search for them. I rely heavily on search to find old and new files for projects. Using Box Sync would allow me to do this, because the files were actually stored on my HD.

This is especially problematic on the Mac platform.

Searching locally synced files is very valuable as you can limit the search context to the desired portion of the tree structure. Also, once you find the desired file it reinforces their location.
The Box Drive search is much less valuable as the search context is way to broad, searching Box files I have zero interest in. -

Our organization desperately needs this feature! Our executives regularly travel to Asia where internet is spotty at best. We have unfortunately reverted back to Box Sync for them until this feature becomes available.
