    Support for Spotlight on macOS is out with the release of version 2.53 (https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/53361463306515-Box-Drive-v2-53-Release-Notes).


    The request will be left in the "gathering feedback" stage, as Finder/File Explorer search functionality does remain limited.

    The search function in the box app is horrible, I tried the box app search and the web search and it did not find the right document (was searching for the content).

    PLEASE I BEG YOU, ENABLE SPOTLIGHT SEARCH FOR OFFLINE FILES OR PROVIDE A PROPER SEARCH FUNCTION WITH BOX!!!!

    Kyle, while I understand your argument, I dont understand the heistance to give the users an "option" to sacrifice performance/bandwidth to have this feature. At least, enable it for the files / folders that the user marked for offline use.
